White Polish- I Can't Get Enough and You Shouldn't Either!!

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** I am such a vamp polish girl and I usually stay away from all colors that even lean towards a light color. Well that is until I took a throwback to the late 90s and decided to fall back in love with white nail polish. I have been loving just plain white for the Spring and I literally cannot get enough of it! I wanted to share some of the whites that I have in my collection so that you can hop on the white polish fad train, too! From left to right Barielle- Enduring Sally Hansen Insta-Dri- OMGhost Rica- Whiteout Sinful Colors- Snow Me White Zoya- Genesis On the nails (top to bottom): Barielle, Sally Hansen, Rica, Sinful Colors The Barielle is my favorite out of this collection. Red Coat Tuesday is Going Wild!!

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** Another Tuesday is upon us... those bitches are back and I don't even know what to say this week. Well, I do know what to say... I am kind of bored with this season and it sucks. PLL used to be one of my favorite shows and I knew it was going to be like this... oh well. That's what you get when you try to do a repeat! I will continue to do cute red-themed nail art for the remainder of the season because, well, I'm not a quiter!! I've been seeing soooo many cheetah designs that I just had to do some cheetah in my life. Of course, this is the #RedCoatTuesday version.   My only hope is that now that Ezra is back things with him and Aria start to heat up and things start to get interesting again... because this season is a major DUD!! Anyway, Do you watch PLL? What do you think of this season? I just can't! Colors Used : Funky Fingers- Red Rica- Blackout Zoya- Cala

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Funky French

Image
**Bought It**  Sooo... Here is my last installment of my Funky French. We are just about to roll over into the next theme and I am super happy that I finally finished a month. You know why?? I actually planned out this entire month a whole month in advance!! Wahoo for my super planning skills. Actually my sister got married on the 24th and I am the Maid of Honor so I really had to plan out to keep you reading. I originally had these blacked out with the bows, but I ended up pulling up the bows so you can actually see the outline. I wanted to go for a punk rocker look but these turned out a little more girly than I thought. I would have liked to maybe do the tips in a different color BUT I do think these turned out funky. Colors Used: Jindie Nails- Pickled Tink Rica- BlackOut

**Bought It**Prize** I'm doing it folks!! This is Funky French #2! While I am kind of mad at this stamping plate AND my lighting situation, I am still doing the challenge. First, this plate was not letting me pick up the entire image at all. It was driving me nuts. It is such a cute little bow and if it would just work, it would look super cute but oh, well. It is what it is. Anyway, I love this purple from Cirque. It is one of my favorites and I don't wear it nearly enough. It is gorgeous! It goes perfectly with with any Fall outfit. This is the only stamping look that I am doing so it will be the only stamping fail I have BUT at least the undies rock, right?? Colors Used: Rica- WhiteOut Cirque Colors- Baptisia

A NEW Challenge!! EPaWC: Picture of the Week

Image
*May Contain Press Samples* I am starting a new challenge and it is suuuuuuper fun! We are given a photo of another members choosing and we have to do a nail design based on that photo. We each get a chance to pick a photo, too. It is called the ECOPOLO Picture a Week Challenge. ECOPOLO is the group we are in and it's for East Coast Nail Polish girls. We are a super tight knit group of girls that have been together for about 5ish years.  This is the picture we got for this week. Yes, it is not East Coast related... it is a beauuutiful picture of Portland. Portland happens to be one of my favorites places to visit and I missed it this year. I am so glad she posted this because it gave me a little reminder of how great that city is.  I did my best to recreate it but whatever crazy thing I do on my nails will never come close to this beauty. I used a whole ton of colors and I went waaaaay abstract on this one! I'm pretty happy with it. I can't wait to see next weeks...

Alpha Mani presents the Letter R

Image
**Bought It** So... I am a moron!!! I thought last week we were to lump all of the letters QRS together... NOPE.. I got confused... not that hard for me these days! This week, we are doing the letter R and our brand is Rica!! Since she is in the group we are doing the challenge with. I also happen to love this girl because she is just awesome! I have bought a ton of her polish because it is the best squishy and stamping polishes I have owned. BEST!! Of course I had to show you some of the squishies!! I did something a little different with them and something I have never done before. I usually do a layer of polish, stamp and then do some more polish on top to add that deep looking effect. This time I used a nude colored based, added my gold polish by HITS with different line patterns and then just added the squishy polish on top. At first, I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but I think I like it. I think if I ever try it again, I would do another layer of the ...

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents 3rd Anniversary Surprise

Image
My next look, which is number 3, was inspired by Dancing Phalanges. It is in my favorite color combination! You can see Ali's entire post here .   I love using black and white because it's such an easy base to dress up for fun. This look is so fun and geometric, too!  For my own added flair, I added a little bit of color just to make it unique. The first two looks I did, I literally recreated exactly what the original blogger had so I wanted to do something a little different. I think it turned out pretty nice. I actually like the purple flair!! I was going to add blue, but this week has been literally nothing but rain and we are getting literally nothing but more rain so I am going to avoid any kind of rain related colors hoping it will make the rain go away. lol Colors Used: Maybelline- Black Onyx Rica- Whiteout Sinful Colors- Amethyst

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents 3rd Anniversary Surprise

Image
As a little reminder about the theme for this month, we get to pick any 4 designs from the past 3 years to recreate from our fellow members. The second one I am doing, I am going to pick one from our Admin Katee from A Girl and Her Polish . I am excited about this one because not only is Katee just an AWESOME admin and a fantastic nail artist, she also happens to be a fellow Pittsburgher. You all know how much I love to support my fellow Pittsburgh people, especially my fellow Pittsburgh bloggers! So, this didn't turn out exactly like Katee's original design, but I tried! I used a black base and then did a grey saran design on top of it. I probably could have used a lighter gray or even maybe a white to do the top of the saran to make a little bit more like Katee's, but I'm digging it! Also, I did a little blobicure on top. I've been doing a lot of blobicures lately. Maybe it's time to go back to the nice and neat dots? I guess I had to do it, ...

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Fashion

**Some Products May Be Press Samples** So, I guess this is the final Inspired by Fashion NCC post I am going to get in this month. I slacked a little but at least I got three in before the end of the month. This look is inspired by a dress I am reviewing from eshakti.com . I will have a full post about this awesome website, but if you can't wait until then, you can check it out!   I think I goofed a little bit with the colors, but from afar I think I got the hang of the pattern.I think I needed something leaning a little more aqua. When I actually wear the dress, I think I might go for Aqua Baby by China Glaze or something closer to that. I really do not recreating patterns because I never think they come out right. I like to do my own thing just because my copy never comes out like the original.  I wish I had a stamp for this because it would have been awesome but I worked with what I had. Overall, I like this look. I am also super pumped that we are ...

**Winnings** So, my first post was about THE DRESS and this one is another fun but kind of serious post. I am such a brand girl when it comes to certain brands. When it comes to clothing and shoes, I like what fits and what is comfortable for the most part and I am not too picky about brands. Now, don't get me wrong. I looove a great designer piece and will never pass it up but I am not too picky about only wearing them. I will say that I cannot do blatant fakes.  Now, if you buy a fake knowing it is fake that is one thing but if you intend to buy a luxury designer brand and get a fake that is what I cannot do. There are sooo many fakes out there. From makeup to handbags to nail stickers it is important to know your brands if you are trying to buy a good knockoff. This is especially true when you are buying makeup. You may end up with a product that may be made with products that could harm your skin. So be careful!!  These nail stickers cracked me up because th...

RedCoatTuesday Pretty Little Count Down

SPOLIERS... DON'T READ IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH LAST WEEK!! After tonight the only thing standing between me and A is nothing!! Do you think we will really find out? Probably not, but I'm still going to watch. So, this is going to be a quick synopsis because there really isn't anything new, new going on. Just a lot of build up and a lot of DRAMZ!!  Wrap up: Hannah and Ali are in jail together- oh so cute. Well they talk while they do laundry and find out that Ali and A used to by buddies via text. Ali thinks A may have been MONA!! Hmmmmm! Jason takes the stand and bites the dust. He admits to getting dirty with Mrs. Marin and just about everything else. Mrs. Marin says bye bye to Pastor Ted because she's BUSTED (well she says she feels bad). Little Liars everywhere! Andrew is creeping everyone out and creeping in everyone's business. What is his deal? What I want to know: Is Ali going to get the book thrown at her for Mona's murder?? You ...
