February Ipsy... Saying Goodbye to Ipsy

Image
**Bought It** This is my last Ipsy bag and I'm feeling kind of sad and kind of happy. First, of course, I am going to be sad to say goodbye to any steady flow of beauty products. This relationship just had to end. Ipsy was killing me with a stream of crap eyeliners every month. I know, I know... you are saying this is all about eyeliners? Yes! Several months in a row, I would tweet, status, snapchat, insta, blog, everything to tell them to stop with the liners. I was just sick of getting a hit or miss and not liking what I got consistently. So, I had to say goodbye!   Briogeo Roscara Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Creme While I have not had a chance to use this product yet, I think it's super important to keep an arsenal of hair products on hand. I love trying different hair  treatments because I abuse the crap out of my hair so I have to love it as much as I can. I have tried a couple different Briogeo products and I have liked them all. Even when I am not...

Metropolis Ipsy January Glam Bag

**Affiliate Links** This month, I made the decision to get one more month of Ipsy and then cancel. I did this for several reasons, but the most being I wasn't enjoying the products I was getting anymore. With all of that being said, of course, this bag was great.  IT COSMETICS  BYE BYE UNDER EYE I got this in the shade neutral medium, which is a little too dark for me in the winter. I can probably rock it in the summer, but for now, it's being shelved. I am a huge fan of the regular concealor, so I was excited to try to illuminator version. This Bye Bye also has anti-aging properties to help keep those peepers looking fresh.  JELLY PONG PONG LIP SCRUB I have now tried 3 different Jelly Pong Pong products and I have really liked them all. They are truly unique between the formula and the different ingredients. I have really been digging lip scrubs, especially this winter. It's such a hard battle to fight between chapped and dry lips. Keeping them fresh i...

Ipsy December Bag... Check Out What I Got!

Image
**Affiliate Link** Ok, you are sooo getting it spot on Ipsy ! For real, the last couple of bags have been so awesome that it's not even funny! This month we got great products and a super cute bag that doubles has a sassy pink clutch.  Don't forget, if you love this you can get your own here .  Nip + Fab- Glycolic Fix Serum This product contains 4% glycol acid which helps improve fine lies and wrinkles. I always have a glycol acid in my bedtime routine. Nip + Fab actually comes from the creators of Rodial- which I totally love. Another plus is that this is made with aloe. If you have any redness or inflammation, this will help.  NYX- Prismatic Shadow Ok. First, lets talk about this color. It is called Bedroom Eyes. It is a deep brownish bronze in all it's metallic goodness. This applies so super smooth and looks just amazing. Fun fact that I just found out  on Ipsy.... NYX was name after a Greek goddess of the night. So awesome.  ...

November Ipsy Glam Bag *Gobble Gobble*

**Affiliate Links** This month's bag is Rockstarlett and not only does the bag show us a celestial beauty love, but all the products rock! I am once again very happy with my bag AND all the products in it. If you want to get your own bag, you can click on any link throughout the post. ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱   Elizabeth Mott Color is Bae Lip Lacquer I love any long lasting colors for this season purely because I have NO MORE TIME! I'm not so hot on reds but this color, Red Chili , will be perfect for a holiday party. I only have to apply before and not worry about any further applications until after the party. I swatched this on my arm and it was still there through several hand washing, a face wash, lots of laundry and a full sleep.  ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ ⟰⟱ pur-lisse Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer I actually got to try a couple pur-lisse masks in a prior Ipsy bag and I fell in love with the brand. I am soooo happy I can add this to my gym bag because I n...

October Ipsy Glam Bag

Image
**Affiliate Links** This month's Ipsy Glam Bag has a theme of Black Magic. I actually got a lot of nice products in this bag. Plus, the bag itself is super cute. It's perfect for my daughters Halloween makeup.  First up, I have the NYX Vivid Brights in Vivid Gunmetal. This is definitely water resistant and very bright. I swatched it on my arm and it stayed in place for well over 24 hours. If you are looking for long-stay silver makeup, this should be in your shopping basket! The brush is super skinny and helps you apply in thin and thick lines. This is a metallic so you have to make sure, if you are trying to build color, that you use thin coats. If you use thick coats, it will end up streaky. Apply with care! Gimmie Good Face Primer from Trust Fund Beauty is another great product I wouldn't mind getting every month! Like many primers, they tout to blur lines, diminish the appearance of wrinkles and leave your face feeling flawless. This also scented with...

August Ipsy Glam Bag

**Affiliate Links** BellaPeirre Cosmetics Mineral Blush I am such a huge fan of loose mineral powders for my face especially tinted ones. This is very sheer so you will have to build with it, a lot. This is in the shade Autumn Glow which does have a very nice glow but it's very light. It is almost a bronze peachy color.  Onomie Powerful Priming Serum This is a two-in-one with their priming power of a serum. The awesome thing about Onomie is that they give 1% of their yearly sales to She's the First. She's the First is a non-profit organization that supports first-generation female high school graduates in low income countries. What a great organization!! Rodial Dragon Blood Hyaluronic Tonic This stuff is awesome! It smells amazing and it feels even better. I thought for sure this was going to be heat or a warming spray, but it's not. It's so cooling and soothing. I have used this as a re-fresher mist, a moisturizing boost, and just a toner...

August Ipsy Glam Bag

Image
**Affiliate Links** I know it's September, but guess what?? My timeout worked really well! I am back and refreshed! This months Ipsy bag was really nice. The actual bag was designed by Michelle Phan who is the founder of Ipsy. It is to inspire the dreamer in all of us! Beaute Basics 3 Tone Bronzer This bronzer is an awesome multishade combination. It is supposed to look good on any skintone and it's super easy to blend out. It does have a creamy application and wears really nicely. I've only used this with all three shades blended together so I'm not sure how they look on their own. I do love to use this as a little countour for my look!  Ciate Paint Pot in Dangerous Affairs Ok, so I am a polish addict deep down. It was my first beauty love and how I got into blogging way back when. Whenever I get a nail polish in any sub bag, I get the giggles! This is the perfect fall color and I am so glad I got to add this to my collection. It's super sh...

July Ipsy Glam Bag... Guess If There Is A Liner Or Not!!

Image
**Affiliate Link** Ok, ok... I've been getting some really fantastic Ipsy bags lately and I've been wondering when the dud is going to hit. Although I did get a pretty great bag, I do have one product in there I'm not so crazy about. Can you guess what it is? First up is the Meet Matt(e) Trimony eyeshadow from the Balm in the color Matt Moskowitz which is a deep plum. I love this color. Anything in the purple family is a love for me! Like most the Balm shadows, this is a great formula, has fantastic coverage and is easily blendable and buildable. I can't wait to rock this once Fall rolls around. You can get 20% off by using Ipsy20. Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer is one of my favorite primers. Well, pretty much all primer is my favorite primer but this one is just awesome. This also has moisturizing agents in it to really help your makeup stay in place. Get 20% off and Free Shipping by using Ipsylove2016. BRUSHES!! Give them all to me. This i...
