My Skin has Gone CRAZY!

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** So, this is a little bit a personal post for me and I really needed to write about my last couple of weeks and my crazy skin. For those of you who don't know, I suffer from horrible migraines. I take daily maintenance medication which I have been having to readjust because some of them haven't been working. Since adding one of them my face has been crazy!! That combined with sweaty workouts, an extremely stressful career, two busy kids and my sister getting married in a month my life is just calling for my face to do this to me. phenlot.com I set out to all of my girls in the Beauty Blog Coalition with my "HALLLLLPPPP" call. I was given so many helpful tips. One of them included a helpful chart that described what may be the cause. It was very similar to the one above. This makes a ton of sense. With all of the medications that I am on to help me get through my days without migraines really have made a mess of my hormones. ...

Dermalogica PreCleanse Oil and Face Wipes Regimen

Image
**Provided by iFabbo** A couple weeks ago I got a neat little duo from one of my favorite brands, dermalogica ! The PreCleanse and PreCleanse wipes are so awesome to have on the run and these are sooo perfect for me! Dermalogica PreCleanse Oil is an oil based cleanser but it is water soluble so it won't stay oily on your skin. You can put it right on your clean hands and put it on your face. Rub it on your face to bring up the gunk. You can start to dissolve the product by putting a little water on your hands and continuing to rub the dirt off. Rinse with a warm water and then clean with your usual cleanser. You can use this in the morning and night. Looooove!! I have absolutely added this to my routine. Why not?  Next is the Dermalogica PreCleanse Wipes . These are like your usual wipes you see in the store except they are made by one of the best skin care companies around and there is sooo much more about them!! First, they are biodegradable. Secondly, this is m...

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Review

Image
**Sample from iFabbo** So, I have a really neat product to tell you about today. iFabbo gave me the opportunity to try the daily microfoliant by dermalocia. This is a dry powder that you actually put water on to work into a exfoliating paste and you can use it daily. Awesome, right?? So, this is how you use it: How much do you love this?? I love it!!  The microfoliant contains some really great things like papain, salicylic acid and rice enzymes as well as green tea, ginkgo and colloidal oatmeal. These all help wash away dead skin cells and regenerate new healthy ones.  This product was also gentle enough for my sensitive skin. I used it every day for about a week and I didn't have any issues with sensitivity. I do use a little extra moisturizer especially since the weather is starting to get a little rough, so you may want to start stacking up especially if your skin is dry to begin with.  The Daily Microfoliant costs $52.00 for 2.6oz and ...

dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50

Image
**brought to you by iFabbo** Well, I am happy to bring to you yet another home run from dermalogica . I love the dermalogica brand and every time I get an opportunity to share their products with you, I have to jump on it.  I was also given an awesome coupon code for $25 off any purchase of $150 or more at Dermalogica.com. It is valid  until 7/31/14 and cannot be combined with any other offers.  #DermalogicaDefence Facebook Twitter Instagram This is a daily moisturizer that actually accelerates the products' SPF from 30 to 50, but uses less chemical sunscreen agents. This is made possible by the Oleosome technology that dermalogica uses. "Oleosomes are natrually occuring spheres of emollient oils and Vitamin E found in Safflower seeds." These allow things such as sunscreen to to be released over time to decrease reapplication often. This awesome product also, "reduces hyperpigmentation and contains a patented polypeptide ...

Dermalogica Skin Booster

Image
**Brought to you by iFabbo** I was given the opportunity to review this awesome product. I just had my 31st birthday and for the last 2 or so years, I have been really looking into anti-aging products. Yes, I know 31 is NOT old, but it's not too young to be concerned about preventing fine lines and wrinkles.   This is a concentrated hydrated fluid that targets dryness and fine lines. It is made up of hyluronic acid, panthenol, glycolipids and algae extract to moisturize and balance your skin.    dermalogica says some benefits are: Hydrates tissues to smooth and minimize fine lines. Use as a spot treatment or all over to revitalize skin. Non-greasy formula is suitable for all skin conditions.   As you can see, this is a serum. It can be used on it's own or part of a dermalogica system made to target your areas that need a little boost. I mentioned before that I just turned 31. While I don't have dry skin or wrinkles, I would love ...
