Color Me So Crazy

  Colors Used: OPI- Jinx OPI- Solitaire   So, here is my THURSDAY post! A little late, I KNOW! My life is slowly going back to the crazy side and I need to gain control. While I finally hired an employee, I am still in training mode- which is difficult as well.   Anyway, on to these nails.... This weeks challenge was texture. I decided to use my OPI Bond Girls Collection because they are my favorite textures. I really got into the texture thing when it started and I still love it. They are like thermals, I will never get enough.    After I did these, I realized that they look a lot like Target inspired nails. Although I do LOOOOVE Target, that was not my intention. Yes... It's fall! I will say it again. I love all the colors and darkness of fall winter. I hate the cold though. In my perfect world, I would like to live in an area that is 70-85 degrees all year long, but still have the season changes. Minus the temperature change. You know what I mean?? Anyway, I was so excited to finally break out these sexy OPI textures as they are all dark colors and have been waiting in my Fall/Winter untrieds box for quite sometime. I decided to do a combination of the both which makes for a wicked combination. The rubber finish and the textured gritty finish is freakin awesome. I bought the Illamasqua almost a year ago and have been saving it for the perfect opportunity. I still want to do some art with it, but I have to figure out how to make the finish work with it. So, I'll have to use this sexy purple a little more *wink wink*. So, on with the pics. I am a little disappointed in how the OPI photographed, but ah well. It is so much more spa...

Well here is my 2nd Julie G polish. I love the application and coverage of this polish and I am definitely going to be getting the rest of the set. This one is called Sugar Rush! I love this color. It is such a hot little summer color. I bought both of the Julie G Gumdrop polishes I have from Rite Aid and I hoping when I go back, they will still be there. Please enjoy!! So I have this fascination with all the textured polishes and I WILL buy all of them just because I am in love with the bumpy feeling on my nails. Anyway, I picked up only 2 of the Julie G colors because I was not in love with the others. I will probably get them at a later date, but right now- meh. I really really really love this color. This may be a surprise because it is not vampy at all, but I LOVE it! I hope you all do as well!! Oh P.S.- you may want to grab a napkin or something to wipe the drool off when you are done. Ok ladies...here's the next installment of the Bond Girls. I decided to do a little french skittle on each nail. I was so excited for Vesper since it is my favorite color- dark, purple and vampy. I was very disappointed. I think that the sand formula and the color just did not mix. I was expecting a little more glitz. I think my expectations were so high that they were hard to meet. In addition, it was very hard to get up and needed a little extra cleaning.  Anyway, I really did like the way Jinx looked on top of the Vesper. I think that I have decided that my favorite is still Pussy Galore and Jinx is still in 2nd place. Enjoy!!

Ok loves...here is part 2 of the Bond Girls party. I love love love love this color and I will wear this until this little mini bottle is gone. Every drip! This is a reddish, bright, sparkling color. It is absolutely gorgeous and these pictures do not do it justice! You will just have to go buy this color. So far, I love Pussy Galore and Jinx. We will have to see what comes with Vespa and Solitaire! Enjoy these!

So I know I am hopping on the texture train way late, but I just got to the Mariah in my untireds and I got the Bond Girls for my birthday from A Little Polish . I am in looooooove and kicking myself for not trying them before. I now have 4 Bond Girls minis, 1 Mariah and 2 JulieGs. I cannot wait to try them all and then buy more!!! BUY THEM ALL! Also a first for me is the checkerboard. I feel like it's a slight fail, but practice makes perfect- right? Anyway, enjoy these as it is only part 1.
