Studio Gear With Some Fun Products!

Image
**Sponsored by BrandBacker**  I did a little piece on Studio Gear a couple months ago when I fell for their lipstick. I now have a great chance to try out some of their face makeup products. BrandBacker gave a few of us bloggers a great opportunity to try another branch of their makeup.  First up, the Domed Foundation brush #3 . I always love finding new brushes from different brands so that I can a great variety of tools. Studio Gear has a whole array of brushes to purchase from liner to Kabuki brushes. They also sell in sets. This brush has super soft bristles that are packed tightly in the handle. You can easily buff out make up or use it to apply liquid foundation. This brush retails for $40 and you can check it out here .  This is the Dual Identity Wet/Dry Foundation . Now, this is really neat because it can be used 4 different ways. You can use it on top of your look as a mattifying powder finish, mixed with the Revitalizing Day Serum (seen belo...

Rimmel London Magnif'Eyes Dual Ended Eye Sticks are THE Thing!

Image
**Press Sample** I was given an awesome opportunity to try out these **new** products from Rimmel London. Rimmel London has been killing it in the beauty world for me lately and these are no exception. The Magnif'Eyes (great name first of all) double ended liner and shadow stick is all my world right now. You can pick these up at Target, now! There are 4 colors in total and I get to show you two of them! Dark Side of Blue I have been rocking the blue liner all week and I just love how diverse the fat liner stick is. It's so easy to work with and you can use it as a thin line or smudge it for a more smokey look. I showed a little of both below. The shadow end of this stick is a charcoal shimmer. It is perfect for a smoked out eye, too. The combination of these two together is amazzzzzing!  Pink & Purple Rain This is an amazing duo. The deep eggplant purple up against the shimmery pearlescent pink is soooo pretty. I love this purple liner. It's no...

NYC New York Color Individual Eyes All-in-One

Image
**Press Sample** This neat little palette came to me from NYC New York Color and it's pretty much an all-in-one. There are 4 colors for your lids, a gel liner, an illuminator and a primer. It makes for the perfect gym buddy or something to bring on a weekend out of town.  I got the palette in the color Bronze Nudes. I love the neutral tones throughout the colors. They are my perfect everyday colors. How to use this: Apply the primer. This should be done from the lid all the way up to the brow bone.  Use the "All Over Lid" color for your lid and a little bit into the crease. Use the "Crease" shade from the outside crease and in as far as you want to go. I like to go halfway until I blend it and then go further if I want more of a dramatic look.  Use the "Outline" to apply to the outer corner of the eye and along the lash line. You will also want to do this on the corner of the eye.   5. Next, you want to use the "G...

Rimmel Sculpting Palette Trio and a Bonus Bunny?!

Image
**Press Sample** I have been seeing this little lady from Rimmel London pop up and when I had one show up in the mail, I was super excited. I have been digging all of my palettes, quads and all my multiples kits this year. All-in-one has been my tagline, I swear. It's like, the easier it is, the more I need to add it to my collection- haha. This is a trio sculpting palette that is from the Kate Moss collection through Rimmel London. It is available in 3 shades. I am showing off Coral Glow. They also have Golden Sands and Golden Bronze. It is made up of three pans; a highlighter, a bronzer and a blush. They all look like they have a shimmer to them in the packaging but when I actually wore them (and in the swatches below), the only one with a slight was the bronzer.  The formula was really nice. I have actually made this part of my regular routine, now. The shades are all easily blendable and build really easily. They apply really smoothly and color is vibrant....

Sultry Face of the Day ft. Rimmel London

Image
**Press Samples** Today, I am bringing you a look made completely by Rimmel London . I love their SCANDALEYES lines so when I saw 3 products from it, I literally squeed! As you may or may not know, Rimmel London is readily available at most drugstores and big-box stores. You can also find a couple products at Ulta if you are a die-hard beauty store person. Trust me, these drug-store brands have been putting out awesomely great products lately for not-a-lot of money and I have a couple of them to show you, tonight! First up, I have the LASTING FINISH 25H FOUNDATION WITH COMFORT SERUM . This foundation claims to be smudge, heat and humidity proof for up to 25 hours!! I wore this several times since this look and I love it! I really does stay for a very long time! The shade I have is Classic Ivory, which is a little light for me. I added a little of some color concentration drops that I have in a darker color and it corrected it right away. I didn't use it for these pictu...

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara VoxBox from Influenster

Image
**Brought to you by Influenster** I am super excited to bring to you Velvet Noir mascara by Marc Jacobs. So, when I found out that I was going to to be trying this, I felt two things. First, I was super excited (see first sentence- lol). Secondly, I was sooo hopeful that this was going to be better than Lash Lifter Gel Mascara. The first Marc Jacobs mascara I ever tried was just a disappointment. I didn't like the formula or the wand. It was such a lose, lose. I wanted to review this with an open mind because I do like Marc Jacobs makeup in general so I was hoping for a great mascara. The packaging is fun, modern and ultra sleek. The claim is, "major drama, oversized lashes, velvet-like look". The formula is very velvety. After application, your lashes aren't stiff. they are soft and malleable still. This is a great feature of a mascara. I don't like feeling like I have boards on my eyes just to make them look gorgeous! I am such a wand perso...

Barielle has MAKEUP!!!!

Image
**Gift** I always get super excited when brands expand their collections and branch out into other realms of beauty. Barielle has been dipping their toes in the waters for quite some time now since I am been with them BUT this has been the first time that I have seen makeup from them.  When I got a surprise package in the mail, I knew I wasn't expecting nail polish and when I opened it to see an eye shadow palette; I did a double take. Naturale Essential Eye Shadow palettes are 2 of the new makeup items on their site. This is the Black palette and it has 6 pans in it. There is also a Beige palette that has 6 alternate colors.  I looooove these colors. They are the perfect shimmer in the perfect metallic shades for the Fall carrying into the Winter. This is currently on sale on Barielle's website for $14.99 and you can check them out here . What do you think of this palette? What do you think of Barielle hopping in the makeup game?

Lift Me Up Wonder'Lash from Rimmel LONDON

Image
**Press Sample** Today, I have a new-to-me mascara. Mascara is one of those beauty products that I have in just about every nook and cranny of my life. If I ever leave the house without makeup, I at least have mascara on. It's just one of those things that I always have. One in my purse, car, desk drawer, blog room, each bathroom, etc. You get the picture. When I found out Rimmel was giving me the opportunity to try out their new Lift Me Up Wonder'Lash mascara, I was super excited. I always love trying out new mascaras. It's like the search for buried treasure. The search for the ultimate mascara.  Lift Me Up Wonder'Lash is formulated with Vitamins and Cucumber extract to help give your eyes a refreshing look and make your eyes look bigger. There is also a slight cucumber scent. I looooove this scent, too. The wand is shaped in an hourglass shape which allows for the perfect lash shaping technique. I really enjoyed this mascara It lifts, volumizes and...

It's Halloween... This is What I am Wearing!

Image
**Press Samples** So... today is Halloween and this is what I am rocking. Thanks to the wonderful people over at NYC New York Color, I have a really fun and colorful design on my face. I didn't create an actual character this year, I just went for fun.  Colors Used: Face: NYC New York Color- New York At Night  NYC New York Color- East River Romance NYC New York Color- Rockefeller Center Snowflakes NYC New York Color- Wall Street Bronze I'm not sure exactly what this character is but I kind of like it. I used a really, really light foundation and then just went to town. I whited out my eyes, outlined the white in electric blue and then added some spikes.  I also then outlined my lips in black and then did an inner color with the electric blue. Again, even though I'm not really someone or something, I am in love. I do wish I would have use a better primer so my pores aren't so porous but I'm learning for next time! To match up with...
