Be Natural Organics Winnings

Image
**Winnings** I won a fantastic giveaway from  Agape Love Designs and I am super excited to start using it. I have a line of about 3 products but this will be number 4 PLUS I will be starting laser treatment for my newly found acne so I will be suppper excited to share with you how that goes.  The kit I chose was for Acne Prone Skin. You all know about my recent struggle with my skin so I have been trying everything and anything to see if it helps. This little kit comes with all the products shown here and is only $35.00 here . This is a travel kit so all of these sizes are travel sizes.  It contains: AHA Face Wash, Daily Botanical Enzyme Peel, Elderberry Balancing Mist, BHA Serum, Aloe Leaf Body Lotion, Mother of Pearl Facial Scrub and Detoxifying Mud Mask.   I am curious to see if there any results from any of these products, especially with the face wash. There is Glycolic Acid in it and that usually does wonders for pores, scars, acne and just eve...

Northern Star Polish Janus Rising

Image
*winnings* So, I won this from a giveaway a couple months ago and I was super excited. Along with this, I was able to get 2 other polishes and a cuticle oil with my order. I was suuuuper excited because I really liked the cuticle oil I have purchased in the past and I was excited to add to my collection. Left is with a flash and the right is without a flash.  As you can see, Janus Rising is a purpleish, brownish, reddish duochrome- holographic color. Wow!! That's a lot of stuff and it makes it awesome!! The color shift from the purple to red is really awesome in the sunlight. I am kind of bummed because it has nothing but rain here for the last couple of days, so you are stuck with a flash. Flash on the left, regular lighting on the right I love this polish. I am starting to drift away from holos a little because I am just over them. For me, they are a winter polish and I think I am holo'd out!! This polish really brought me back though. I loooo...

Lilypad Lacquer- Llarowe XOXO

Image
I won this seexxxxy holo from one of my Facebook groups. I go through these periods where I win giveaways like 3 days in a row and then I am dry for like months!! Story of my life- minimal luck!! Anyway, this is the first Liliypad that I have ever put on my nails and I like it! The holo is gorgeous! The formula is good to work with and it's just a nice polish. This is described to lean from a plum to turquoise. I saw more of a dark grey holo that does lean towards purple. Anyway, regardless of which way it leans, it is freakin sexy...So..... here it is!! Olympic Medal by Alter Ego Nail Enamel

Image
So I won a fantastic prize from Alter Ego Nail Enamel   a couple weeks ago. I got three polishes from her shop including Olympic Medal. This polish arrived with such great timing since the Olympics were happening. So, now that my regular TV schedule is back I am happy to show you this polish. I am hoping the get the other two that I won, Air Transport Auxiliary Pilot and Salmon Smoker, on shortly to share with you. I have never tried a polish from this shop before so I am kind of excited. Usually I don't like this kind of micro glitter, but I have changed up my base coat routine that it made me love it. How? Well..... The combination that I am using makes NOTHING stick to my nails. It's partly annoying and partly funny. I have had this problem before with some other base coat combos and it makes me angry when I am at work and an entire nail of polish slides right off. Then I have 9 beautifully polished nails and 1 naked nail. haha. For this design, it make clean up suu...

GOT Polish- Chevron

Image
Sorry!! I missed last week, but I am back!! This week we are doing Chevron!! I wanted sooo bad to buy some decals that would make this easier, but I hung on and free handed this... well almost. I used a little striping tape for straight lines, but whew that was difficult! This week, I told you, I declared as skittles week. Chevron skittles were absolutely fun to do!! I am also really glad that I got to use the rest of my Santee winnings from GorJess and LoveLee. I really liked Santee polishes. All of them that I have used have a beautiful finish as well as a great formula. I have not been disappointed by this brand at all. In addition to nail polish, Santee also has a variety of other beauty products. So, if you have not used a Santee before, it's totally worth the peep! Colors Used: Santee- Autumn Santee- Baby Purple Santee- Modern Purple Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this design. As I mentioned above, I don't have any special tape or anything so I used 2 strips ...

Chrysopoeia, Arcane Fire and Baptisia by Cirque

Image
So I found out not that long ago that I won the ENTIRE Alchemy collection by Cirque from Love for Lacquer. I was sooooo excited that I did a dance. I decided since they are all lovely in equal that I would put them in a box and randomly pick them out and swatch them in that order so that they all get equal love. I am going to post the swatches in groups of 3 so that each one can get a little more love because they are absolutely freakiiinnn gorgeous! So.. enjoy. Don't lick the screen, it will definitely not taste as good as these look!! Chrysopoeia Arcane Fire Baptisia

KBShimmer Winter 2013 Blogger Holiday Collection Part 1

Image
Toast-ess with the Mostest was designed by Peachy Polish for the 2013 Holiday Blogger Collection. I used this beautiful circle glitter over Maybelline Bold Gold. I really like this glitter. It's very pretty to look at this glitter. The circles with the rose gold color is just awesome! I am in love love love with rose gold and this compilation makes the perfect rose gold look. I may try to use this glitter in something again around New Years Eve because it is just so classy. Snow Much Fun was designed by The Manicurator. This polish is a light blue holo jelly with small and large white circle glitters, white snowflake glitter and some holo micro glitter. This is a really cute polish, especially for winter. I suggest using a thick top coat like Seche Vite or something that will cover the tips of the snowflakes. They do not stick up that bad, but it still needs a thick coat.  Merry Pinkmas was made by Let Them Have Polish. This is a light pink crelly with lo...
