Guest Post for Wishes of a Blue Eyed Girl

Image
In case you missed it or are not following Wishes of a Blue Eyed Girl, this is a guest post I did for her a couple of weeks ago. Be sure to do a little Wishes of a Blue Eyed Girl Google search and you will find a new world of beautiful polish, great blogging and just a whole lot of fun! For this design, I wanted to do something bright and fun for the summer. I was recently given the Femme Fatale and the Northern Star as giveaway prizes and I thought they made a great combination. The Northern Star polish is a bright pink linear holographic polish that is just stunning in the sun. The Femme Fatale polish is a lavender crelly with lots of pink, purple and black glitters in a variety of sizes. The crelly was really nice to apply. Sometimes you get a heavily loaded glitter that just clumps together and doesn't want to apply the glitter nicely. This had a nice even glitter application. A few shakes of the bottle was all I needed to mix it up. This also happens t...

I purchased both of these polishes myself. That's probably the worst picture I've ever taken in my life. Sorry. Onto the swatches of the polishes, which actually have good photos!   One Gray-t Year.   This polish was created to celebrate Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's first year of business! (And fun fact, it was named by Jessica of Polished10 !) This is a " a matte grey polish with rainbow micro-flakies. It dries to a satin finish." This polish is exactly as described! I'm showing it he...

BEGL Go Bragh by Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer

Image
Welp, let's talk about a gorgeous green. I do not like the color green, but Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer makes a goooorgeous one! She recently had a naming contest for her St. Patricks Day color and I won! I named is BEGL Go Bragh. Love it? I did! This is a beautiful green creme with a orangeish shift. The color is so delicate and great. It is not a harsh green and looks great with my skin tone. I own several BEGL and I love them all. The formula is excellent them. I actually have the first four colors she ever made. I won them waaaay back when before she started selling them in her shop. Still in fantastic shape.  I tried to show the shimmer shift here, but I failed. lol. It shows better in the picture below, but you can still see the shimmer in this polish. It goes on so smooth. Literally like butter.  Yes-- and there is more. I seriously cannot get enough of this polish.  May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light, may good luck pursue you ea...

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Prototype Lovin!!

Image
As most of you know, I am a huge fan or Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer! I have loved her polishes from the very beginning before she even had a store and continue to love them more and more! She always has fantastic colors and the formula is FANTASTIC. Along with all that great polish stuff, she is a really great girl. She is definitely someone that I look up to. She has a fantastic real-life career, makes kick ass polishes, gives selflessly to charities and just is an all around awesome girl. I will absolutely always support something with that kind of passion and drive behind it. With that being said, make sure you check out her new November duo and stay tuned for her Winter Collection coming up soon. You can also check out here shop here and her Facebook here . Anyway here is the fantastic one-off prototype that I bought with all it's glory. Stay tuned for hopefully some more pretties from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.

Hello, Color Me So Crazy readers!!  My name is Julie, and I blog over at Wishes of a Blue-Eyed Girl .  When Brigitte asked some bloggers if they would man the post while she was gone, I knew I wanted to help out.  What I didn't know, however, is what to share with you guys.  I went through several options, and decided to go with a safe one - stamping with China Glaze and OPI.  The colors I used were OPI Dulce de Leche and China Glaze Dress Me Up.  Let's get to it, shall we? *I was not financially compensated for this post.  All items in this review were purchased by me for my own use.  The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.  For more information, please see my Disclosure Policy in the tab above.* First, let's do a little review of OPI's Dulce de Leche.  For those who may not normally read my blog, you may notice that my review style is a little, well, wordy.  As a consumer, I love to read reviews that ar...
