Sephora August Play! Box...Elements of Beauty

Image
**Bought It** I seriously love my Sephora boxes. They are always filled with awesomeness. very rarely do I get it filled with products that I already own. Maybe 1 out of the 5, but rare! Also, I have gotten 1, YES ONE, eyeliner in the last year. That was something I was getting monthly with my other sub bag. Kat Von D also happened to be the winner this month and I looooove myself some Kat! KAT VON D Lock It Concealer Creme #1 I am a huge fan of the Lock It Foundation! It's a full coverage foundation that I use during the winter months when my skin freaks out. This concealer is just awesome! It holds all the gross at bay for 24 hours. It brightens, color corrects and smooths. I've been using this on my tired eyes and my wild breakouts. This week has been a wild one at world, so my face hates me... to say the least!  KAT VON D Saint & Sinner Ohhhh I got a two for deal with this one! I am loving these smells and I have never tried them. Funny thing is, ...

July Sephora Play! Box... Literally THE Best

Image
**Bought It** I have been absolutely loving every single Sephora Play! Box since I started subscribing. The brands, the products and just the thoughtful preparations is greatly appreciated. I will very much be renewing this every month. OUAI HAIRCARE Wave Spray  First up, the Ouai Haircare wave spray. I have been having a hard time using wave spray because my hair is either straight or super curly. There are no waves here. Well, unless I really work at it and that kind of time, I just don't have anymore. I am looking for something that is light, but heavy enough to pull down my curls into waves. This is super easy to use. You just spray on damp hair and then work it out. If you are like me, there shouldn't be much working with my natural curl. The wave sprays just don't work on this hair. Does this smell fantastic? Yes. Does it feel fantastic? Yes. I do recommend this for those of you straight to semi wavy haired girls. Work it out!! TOO FACED Soleil Matte ...

Beauty Blender VS. Brush Application.. Show Time!

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** I don't know about you, but I use both of these tools interchangeably on a daily basis when I apply my makeup. Do I have a preference? It depends on what I'm using the tools for on that particular day. Lets see which one blends out liquid foundation better!! First up,  I have two brushes that I use for foundation. A flat top fluffy brush (similar to the Sigma F80) and a flat foundation brush (similar to the Sigma F60). One is from BH Cosmetics and I have no idea where I got the other one. I want to say Sephora, but yeah... I don't remember.  Next up is the Beauty Blender. This is actually the 3D Classic Blender from Ricky's NYC. I got it in my Ipsy bag and was gifted another one from my sister because she doesn't know how to use it. Win for me!! On the left, it is wet and fully " inflated "; on the right is my old one that is dry. I always use mine wet because it blends easier and doesn't soak up the product....

Sephora Paint it Pink Box Birthday Goodie

Image
I got this little gift from my good friend and fellow blogger Marge over at Frost and Polish . Make sure you pop over and say "hi". Along with a Boscisa sake face mask, this was such a fantastic gift that I wanted to share it with you. These are all the deluxe sized goodies that come with the box. The box that it comes in is super cute, too. They all have a pink theme. I just love pink, so this is perfect for me!  First up is the BECCA Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pressed Rose Gold. This shade is a little dark for me now, but once I add that summer tan it will be perfect. I have heard so many great things about this highlighter so I was super pumped to see this in the box! It is creamy, super shiny and just perfection!  Next is a deluxe sample of benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara . I am a mascara hoarder so I am glad I can add another one to my collection. I do like the stiffer, silicone, short bristled brush. They really lengthen my lash...
