Image
**May Contain Press Samples** Guys Santa is coming sooo soon and  I haven't done any Christmas nails!! Ugh! This is my first go at the Holidays and I wanted to start simple. Candy canes are my absolute favorite Christmas treat, so I wanted to do a little treat on my nails.  I used a stamping plate and striping tape to create this super simple look. If you are looking for a quick, easy look to do for the holidays, this may be it!  Colors Used: Santee- Crystal White Sally Hansen- Rhapsody Red

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents PURPLE!

Image
**May Contain Press Samples**  Yasssss!  My favorite color in the entire world!! I was super stoked when they announced this month's theme. So super stoked that I decided to do a super fun purpled-out design.  I used three different purples and then stamped some cute swirly designs on top. Bonus.... I got a new stamper from Bundle Monster. It's a big squishy one and I am in love. All of my plates pick up soooo much nicer. Thanks for the suggestion guys!  I kind of love the creme and shimmer mixed together here. I used the saran mani underneath to create some texture. I've been seeing them everywhere again and I've had an itch to do one so here it is.  Colors Used: Sinful Colors-Mesmerize Sinful Colors- Truth or Lavendare Santee- Baby Purple

GOT Polish- Chevron

Image
Sorry!! I missed last week, but I am back!! This week we are doing Chevron!! I wanted sooo bad to buy some decals that would make this easier, but I hung on and free handed this... well almost. I used a little striping tape for straight lines, but whew that was difficult! This week, I told you, I declared as skittles week. Chevron skittles were absolutely fun to do!! I am also really glad that I got to use the rest of my Santee winnings from GorJess and LoveLee. I really liked Santee polishes. All of them that I have used have a beautiful finish as well as a great formula. I have not been disappointed by this brand at all. In addition to nail polish, Santee also has a variety of other beauty products. So, if you have not used a Santee before, it's totally worth the peep! Colors Used: Santee- Autumn Santee- Baby Purple Santee- Modern Purple Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this design. As I mentioned above, I don't have any special tape or anything so I used 2 strips ...

Easy Peasy, Lovey Dovey- Heart Nails

Image
For these days leading up to the official day of love, I have decided to give you all a little bit of EASY to pamper yourself and to MAKE YOU PRETTY! That is always my goal, "make me pretty". I want to explain this a little because it's not the pretty that you see on TV or in the magazines, it's the pretty that you see when you look in the mirror. I have struggled with seeing myself in anything but a negative light when I looked in the mirror. Blogging has helped me through this. Other ladies in the community encouraging me to keep going and complimenting me. So... my challenge to you is to do things for yourself. Do things for yourself and say "MAKE ME PRETTY" when you're doing them. My goal in bringing you tutorials and products reviews are to show you the things out there are that don't cost thousands of dollars and don't require diets or surgery, but only require a little "me time" So.... check my #makemepretty hastags to see how ...

The Nail Challenge Collaborative- Favorite Color

Image
Yeah, I almost succeeded in being on time the entire challenge month. ALMOST!! Damn! Anyway, this is the last installation of this month's challenge which again, is favorite color. I have already done: Purple with Liquid Lacquer, Sinful Colors and Revlon Dark colors with Orly, ILNP, Barielle and Color Club Turquoise and Gold with Hit Polish and Sation Now, I am doing a brown and blue combo with dots. Yes, I love this combo. Especially with winter approaching. I love baby blue and brown. It's like warm and cold mixed together! I also happen to love dots, as you can see with many of my manis!! In addition to those little dot clusters, I also did a saran with the colors. The Santee did not like the saran, so I added the dots. I like it. I actually liked it soooo much that I left it on for 2 days. No, I am not sick. I just liked the mani :) So, without further ado my last installment of Favorite Color Month!! Stay tuned for next months challenge...
