The 52 Week Challenge Presents 60s with Matte or Texture

Image
Ok, so my first thought was how the heck am I going to do this one? What a combination!! The 1960s and matte or textures?? Holy wow!!! I decided to do a psychedelic look skittle with some psychedelic lines, flower power and butterflies. I added some 60s colors and topped it with a matte top coat. This took a little bit of thinking and creativity, but I think it fits perfectly. 1960s hippie chick was kind of my theme and I am glad that I actually had stamps to match. Since my nails started getting smaller and smaller, it would have been pretty difficult to hand draw. Colors Used: JustRica- Whiteout L'Oreal- Now You Sea Me Bettina- Watermelon Maybelline- Fierce and Tangy An InLinkz Link-up

GOT Polish Challenge- Coral

Image
Oh my dear coral!! I swore that I had a coral polish for this and it turns out I didn't. I could picture it. A L'Oreal polish that even had coral in it's name. Welp, I didn't. So, I went for the next best kind of thing. I love the color coral, too.  For this challenge, I used L'Oreal Tangerine Crush and Bettina Watermelon over the L'Oreal to add that pinkish to the orange of the L'Oreal. Well, it was a little too pink. I'm diggin it though. So, what do you think? Close to coral? I love the salmonish feeling of the Tangerine Crush. It's like a pinky orange. Which is what a coral is, but I think it leans a little too much towards to orange side.   So, do you own any coral colors? If so, give me names please!! I am now on the hunt for the perfect coral. Well, how about any coral?!    Until next week, when we are doing HOT PINK!! I am sooo super excited for this! I love my hot pinks!

Winnings from Hit Polish and a Little Bettina

Image
*All polishes in this post were won in giveaways by ColorMeSoCrazy My winnings from Hit Polish are over some Bettina. Hit Polish was one of my first indie polishes and I feel in love ever since then. I currently own over 20 Hit Polishes and I am constantly seeing more that I love and NEED!! As for the Bettina, I love these polishes. I only own 3 and they are beautiful colors with great application. This is the last of the three that I won from a giveaway Kit & Caboodle gradient accent nails! Super cute and I love the 80s combo. The Bettina is a yellow with a lean towards green, but it is a perfect 80s color. Hit Polish- Kit & Caboodle Bettina- Kiwi

Throwback Thursday

Image
Yes, we are here yet again. This weeks throwback is in my purple section. I used 3 polishes to create a mini mixed ombre- Ombre Scramble. I really enjoy doing the throw backs, because it makes me feel like less of a nail polish hoarder and less of a waster. This way I try my polishes at least two times... haha. Anyway, purple is my favorite color and I have a pretty big selection. The Bettina is one of my favorite purples. It has a little shimmer to it, but the shade is just so yummy. Truth is these three are my favorite purples. They are all different shades, but they are such beautiful colors. I hope you all enjoy my Ombre Scramble. Bettina- Butterfly L'Oreal- The Mystic's Fortune NYC- Purple Pizzazz Frost

Nail Challenge Collaborative- Stamping!!

Image
This is the 3rd post in my Nail Challenge Collaborative Challenge for the month of May! I really have been practicing with mys tamps and I think I am getting good :/ I really enjoy stamping, it's just a little harder for me since I have such small nail beds. Arghh!! I have really been working on my nail length on my swatching hand, but again, for some reason my non swatching hand looks waaaaaaay better. Anyway- Enjoy!   Sinful Colors- Black on Black Bettina- Watermelon Jindie Nails- Be Trixed

Bettina- Watermelon- Yum!!

I have been on a mission to use a whole lot of untireds and I came across 3 little Bettinas. This color, Watermelon, is just beautiful! I get in these moods sometimes where I hop off the vamp train and hop on the Barbie train. I really like pink and on my nails, sometimes, I like it a lot! In this case, I love it a lot. Well enjoy!
