Color Me So Crazy

**Bought It** I have some interesting colors for this weeks Alpha Mani. As I said last week, we are winding down to the end and I was just told that there is something in the works for the next challenge. I really liked this one because it was super simple for me to join and I got to use so many polishes that were just sitting.   I did a little skittle with some simple stripes. I really like the way this turned out. It's simple yet super fun. The colors came together really nicely. I also love the opalescence in the Oh My Oceania. It gives it a nice lean in the right light. Color Used: Sinful Colors- Let's Meet Sation- Oh My Oceania  What do you think of this color combination? Do you own either of these colors? Any suggestions for next weeks letter "T"?

I am so happy to announce a BRAND NEW CHALLENGE with Crumpet's Nail Tarts called the 52 Week Challenge. It combines the some of our past challenges together to make it a heck of a challenge!! I am super excited because this challenge gives me such precise prompts which makes it easy for me to get creative!! This challenge gives us the option of doing a challenge twice a month or all at once. I am going to stick with doing both at once for the most part to really kick it up with the challenge. It's back!!! We are back for a whole new set Golden Oldies for me to do. I was able to use a lot of my old polishes and this round I have a whole new selection open. This week our task was to use our oldest turquoise colors. I used 3 of my turquoise polishes for this design. A couple months ago (or maybe even last year), I did a turquoise comparison. If you are interested, you can check it out here .  I did just a simple dotted skittle with the Funky Fingers Bizerk Turq as the base. I used two coats to cover up the bald spots.  On top of the base, I used a dotting tool to finish off with China Glaze- Turned Up Turquoise and Sation- Oh My Oceana. I forgot how much I love turquoise and all of the different shades that I have.  What do you think of simple dot designs? Yes!! I am rolling on this Nail Art for Nubs Link Up!! This one reminds me of that old school raggedy ann style/look. I called it stitching, because that is what I looks like in my mind. I absolutely love this color combo!! I also think this dotting pattern puts a little length on my nails! Always a good thing. Especially lately. I have been thinking about letting my nails grow out. They always get to a certain point and then I get nervous about my clumsy self and file them down before something else takes a nail out. So.... Enjoy this fall color themed mani. Yes, so here is my third interpretation of "favorite color". Gold and teal and my two favorite colors together. I love the way they look and I always enjoy trying different polishes with these two out. Sation Oh My Oceania is one of my all time favorite polishes. Also, since everyone is on this "Gap My Bright Pool" kick right now this Sation is a pretty dark dupe. Just a little tip from me to you- muah!! Anyway, Oh My Oceania is teal with a pink, green, blue, turquoise.  ANOTHER DUPE ALERT- RBL Aqua Lily...ok, continue. For this design I put my base of the Sation on and waited to dry- completely!! Next I taped my two accent fingers just at random angles. I then did a coat of a no-name jelly white decant. I then added the Hit Polish Tinsel on top. Finally, I pulled the tape off and drooled!! So I have another Tri-Color Challenge coming up and one of the colors is turquoise. What color is turquoise anyway?? Well I have a couple that are considered to be the color of turquoise. I wanted to show you a comparison of them. This is my first comparison post, so please bear with me! So from left to right in the photo, these are the brands and names of the turquoise colors I own. I love the color pink and I have been wanting to use this polish since I won it. I love Sation polishes and this color is so pretty!! It is more of a salmon color, but I still like it for the pink theme! This color has multi color glitters and is so cute. I loved wearing this color and the only down turn is getting it off!! I had to let a cotton ball soak for a loooooong time on my nail before I could wipe it. Next time I wear this, I will be putting some undies on.  Sation- For Better or Never

I love this color combo! One of my favorites for clothes, makeup, jewelry and especially nails! I just got this Sation (Oh My Oceania) from a giveaway I won. I also picked up this Fergie as part of a duo pack from Walgreen's for $2.50! Glamorous, of course, is the name. I usually go really heavy on the glitter when I use it, but this one I did not.
