Sephora Holiday 2016 Face Palette

Image
**Gifted to Me** This little pretty was gifted to me for Christmas by a fellow beauty blogger, Frost + Polish,  and I just have to share it because I love it so hard! This mega quad has 2 blush colors, a bronzer, a highlighter, a mirror and a pretty little package.  All of these colors are so beautifully pigmented and look fantastic on my skin tone. Not only are these colors gorgeous BUT the packaging and design is so geometrically beautiful.  They each have the perfect amount of shimmer without being overwhelming. I was a little apprehensive about the highlighter because of the purple and gold. I thought it would look more like a bruise than a highlight, but it looks fantastic. Don't forget to peep at my SnapChat to see how I actually use this. Szizzy12184, in case you don't know.  Not only does this palette come with gorgeous colors, it also comes with a mega huge mirror that is perfect for applying all of this pretty. This was a holiday spe...

5 Ways To Rock A Shimmer Shadow

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** Everyone loves a good shimmer especially when it's a product that can be used a multitude of ways. I dug really deep in my tools of beauty and got really creative to show you four different ways to use your favorite powdered shimmer. I used a packed shimmer powder by Pacifica. This is normally used as an eye shadow but as you will see, it can be much more! I choose this powder because it is nicely pigmented with that shimmer baby. To use this as an eyeliner, all you need is a different brush. Same story for just about every look you do. It's all in the brush you use. I used this super skinny flit tipped definition brush to pick up the powder and apply it right above my lashes. Kind of really pull it tight behind your lashes if you are going to layer up. I used about 2 layers and smoked it out to really blend it well on the lid.  Yes, what this product was originally intended for. I love plain white shimmer shadows because...

Rimmel Sculpting Palette Trio and a Bonus Bunny?!

Image
**Press Sample** I have been seeing this little lady from Rimmel London pop up and when I had one show up in the mail, I was super excited. I have been digging all of my palettes, quads and all my multiples kits this year. All-in-one has been my tagline, I swear. It's like, the easier it is, the more I need to add it to my collection- haha. This is a trio sculpting palette that is from the Kate Moss collection through Rimmel London. It is available in 3 shades. I am showing off Coral Glow. They also have Golden Sands and Golden Bronze. It is made up of three pans; a highlighter, a bronzer and a blush. They all look like they have a shimmer to them in the packaging but when I actually wore them (and in the swatches below), the only one with a slight was the bronzer.  The formula was really nice. I have actually made this part of my regular routine, now. The shades are all easily blendable and build really easily. They apply really smoothly and color is vibrant....

My Little bh Cosmetics Toys

Image
**Bought It** bh Cosmetics had a huge sale recently so I decided to take advantage of it.I bought a set of brushes and a new palette. I am definitely going to re-buy from them. I'm not sure what yet, but another purchase is in the future! First up....I have the 10 Piece Sculpt and Blend Brush Set. I really like these brushes, a lot! They are super soft, great to blend with and easy to clean. I have only used one of them with liquid so far but I have read a couple reviews saying they soak up too much liquid. I didn't have that problem, but like I said I have only used 115.  From left to right: 113- Round Blending Face Blush 114- Angled Blending Face Brush 115- Tapered Contouring Face Brush 116- Flat Blending Face Brush 117- Angled Contouring Face Brush 118- Small Tapered Contouring Face Brush 119- Small Angled Blending Face Brush 120- Small Flat Blending Face Brush 121- Small Angled Contouring Face Brush 122- Small Round Blending Face Brush N...
