Color Me So Crazy

There are a total of 36 colors in this vegan and 5-free collection and I have 6 that I am going to give you a little peek at. For the most part, they are so easy to use- as long as you understand how gels work. The formula for these polishes are VERY thick- like most other gels. When you apply them, you need to work with thin layers. DO NOT glob them on thinking you will build faster because the polish will just burn when you cure it. Don't forget to prep your nails by cleaning them with alcohol and drying them completely.   This week, I have glitter topper as my GOT Polish Challenge. I used this before in my gradient GOT Polish Challenge, so I am sorry you are seeing it again. It just so happens to be one of my few non-indie glitters.  I decided to layer it over Zoya Rocha because I am in love with that color and I really wanted something that was going to contrast it well. **Bought It** I love Dance Legends polish. I am still soo into the thermal polishes and I think they put the best ones out- by far. This is not a thermal, but a polish that turns in the sun. Of course, I didn't pay attention and freaked out when I was scalding my hands under hot water and it wasn't changing.   Finally, when I walked outside, it magically turned purple. Viola!! It clicked. I went back and read the bottle and it says, "SUN" really big on the cap. Duh!!   This polish is from the Sun Shine collection.  195 is off white with different colors of gold glitter. It is a crelly and I am using about 2 coats in the swatches. Surprisingly, this color stayed on really well. Usually my color changing polish wear easily. This one, I had on for several days.   This turned to a dark purple in direct sunlight. I love these colors and I love them even more that they change colors. How awesome is this?? **gifted** I have been rocking out the USA nails lately and I am excited to show you another really simple design. I recently participated in a USA/ 4th of July swap and I got a huuuuge box full of goodies!! In that box was some awesome polishes. I guess I tried to put as many as I possibly could at one time! I got 4 out of 8 so that was pretty good. I used repeating red and blue pattern and then topped the pointer and middle with the SH Red, White and Blue and the ring and pinkie with Beach Ball. I made it!! Again, through another challenge. The good news for this is that we have yet another round. We are scheduled up until September. As you can see, this week is gradient. Sometimes it's pretty difficult to find one really old polish to use, now to dig out 3 old polishes that matched to a gradient was a little tricky. I wanted to go really old school for this, so I dug out some really old school polishes. The NYC and Black Radiance are super old. I think I found the Black Radiance in my moms room when I was younger and the NYC was like my first glitter.   I did a glitter gradient which is a little easier for me because you can use the glitter to kind of blend the two colors. The Golden Rose did not like to play with the others because it is super iridescent. I thought this would make it easier to blend in the gradient, but nope.
