Image
**Press Samples** Today, I am so excited to start the journey of showing off my new Jesse's Girl goodies and sharing my thoughts with you. I have 3 different lip products that I loooove and I have even added one to my purse makeup collection.  First up, GLOW STIX !! Hello! The first time I saw these beauties, I immediately thought of holo nail polish. Like, I literally said, "I wish I could put these on my nails". So pretty! There are three colors in this collection- and I swatched them all below. The second best part, next to the fantastic color, is that they are only $4.99 each.  The GLOW STIX LIP GLOSS comes in the three shades shown below. From bottom to top, Tangerine, Red Dawn and Wicked. They are so fun to layer on top of your favorite lip color. I have two of them above shown on top of Angelic MATTE FINISH LIP COLOR - which we will talk about later.  Next up, I have one of my favorite finishes for lip colors- MATTE! I'm a true matte girl an...

YOUNGBLOOD Mineral Cosmetics PANTONE Eyeshadow Quad and Lipstick

Image
**Press Sample** I am super excited to bring you this new-to-me brand. I have been seeing Youngblood Cosmetics everywhere lately and I was so pumped when I got this chance to try some of their products out. First, a little bit about this company. Youngblood cosmetics is the namesake of Pauline Youngblood who created this company based on the thought that everyone's skin has different needs and only high-rate ingredients can help fully complete someone's look. Pauline actually used to work for plastic surgeons so naturally that is where you can find many of these products; dermatologists offices, salons, laser centers, or from an entire list of stockists on their website.  So, I have two products to show you and they are both based off one of the PANTONE colors of the year. A Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad and a lipstick. Based on my experience with both of these, I am super excited to try more of this brand. First, the Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad. Ea...

The wear is fantastic and I love that I got to see the matte side of Madam Glam. First up on my lips, I have Brick. This is $15.95 and has a glossy finish. This is a classic wine color and I love it for this winter. It's super classy for any work occasion and can easily double for a night out stunner. Next up is Pink-A-Doodle. First, I love this name! I mean, come on. Second, this is a gorgeous matte lipstick. It is not overly drying, it applies very smoothly and it just looks so gorgeous. NYC New York Color Expert Last Lip Lacquer

Image
**Press Sample** Today, I have 4 great lip colors from NYC Expert Last Lip Lacquer line. They are rich, creamy and very nice colors for the Fall! These are designed for long wear, have a glossy finish and are supposed to still be lightweight. On with the colors....  Chelsea Cherry Blossoms This is the neutral nude out of the group. So, I know everyone loves a good nude. Everyone except for us pale girls. Don't get me wrong, I love this formula. It's not sticky, it applies so smoothly and lasts pretty long for a lacquer BUT it just doesn't look right on me. If I had a little pigment in my skin, it would look perfect! Tribeca Mocha    This is MY type of nude! It is a shade darker than my skin tone. It doesn't look like I am missing my lips. I actually love this color for Fall 2015. It's my brownie baby! Lincoln Square Love Affair  Hot pink Barbie is what I have here. This is perfect to pair with a nude eye. I love this type of bright color...

Borghese Eclissare ColorStruck Lip Stick Part 2

Image
**Press Sample** These are the last 3 Lip Sticks I have to show you from the new Eclissare Collection from Borghese. As I said in the first set, these are awesome lipsticks. I only had to reapply once throughout my work day. This is pretty good. All of these color left a little color behind which is good. The color didn't completely disappear when it wore. They were all really easy to remove when I took them off, as well. Dare This color is supposed to be a deep plum color but on me, it clearly is not. I have really pink lips to begin with so every lipstick looks one shade brighter on me. On me, this looks almost like a strawberry red. This is a super pretty color and I can totally see rocking this to work every day. I love this on as an every day lippy! Threshold  This is a shimmery deep cherry red color. It has a gold shimmer in it like the rest of the shimmers in the collection. Love this color for a night out! These colors are the...

NYC New York Color City Proof Twistables Intense Lip Colors

Image
**Press Sample** I have 2 great lip crayons to show you today from NYC New York Color. I loooove this product because they apply really nicely, they are not dry (some lip crayons rip your lip off as you're applying), there are some great colors to select AND the price is so worth it! These range from $2.99-$3.99 depending on the store. If you are interested in learning more about the NYC New York Color City Proof Twistable Lip Crayons, you can check ALL of their products and promotions out here: Website Facebook Twitter YouTube Pinterest Instagram First up, I have Fulton St. Fuchsia . It is a bright pink color.  Things I like: This is a twist-able crayon. No sharpening here. All you have to do is twist.  I put this on before I went to a cocktail party at 5pm. When I got home at  9:30pm, I still had a little pink tint to my lips. The packaging for the crayon is the color of the product. I love this because it makes it easy fo...

Chaptstick Hydration Lock Review

Image
* This product was provided to me by the maker or public relations representative for the brand featured. I have not received further compensation and the review is the opinion of my own.  http://www.chapstick.com/products/hydration-lock?product=hydration-lock This is my first time actually reviewing ChapStick brand and I am super excited because I own about 75 tubes of ChapStick. I have one in each of my jacket pockets, 3 in each car, 2 in my purse, 3 in my office, 2 in my bedroom and then varying places all over my house. I cannot survive the summer or winter without ChapStick. I also happen to have a child that is a lip licker. I will touch on the miracles of the Hydration Lock and that child later, but he adds to that collection as well. I have tried many brands of lip balm and have not found one that comes close to the quality of ChapStick. Which is why I stick with the brand and I am always excited when they come out with a new product. I have been using this p...
