Plums the Word... Says Sally Hansen!

Image
**Press Samples** I am so glad to get into the vamp season! Sally Hansen is showing off some of their vampiest shades with Plums the Word collection. I am showing off one of the Sally Hansen gel polishes and one of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure colors.  Society Ruler This is a rich burgundy creme that just screams sweater weather! I love the Complete Salon Manicure collection because they usually are one coaters and their brushes are just perfect.  I have been wearing this one to work to help ring in all this cold weather we have been getting. I love the way it looks on my skin tone. I think this color looks great on anyone. It's so versatile.  V-Amplified This beauty from Sally Hansen gel is a rich maroon. It is super close to its Salon Manicure sister above, but it's the gel form.  If you haven't tried any of the Miracle Gel polishes from Sally Hansen, you should. There are so many colors to pick from and they are complete in tw

Sephora Play! October Box

Image
**Bought It** Let's face it, I am never going to get my Play! Boxes out on time. I mean, I am just showing off my October one, and it's almost the end of November. So, I think from now on, I am going to share with you what I loved and what I didn't love so much from my box since I am able to actually use them. This months box was called Complexion Companions.  Urban Decay Quick Fix  Urban Decay Quick Fix is one of my favorite quick primers. I have used it in conjunction with a primer, but I have also used it on it's own. I think it woks on it's own just as good. It you are in a pinch with time, this is perfect to help complete your look without skipping your prime.  dr. brandt PoreDermabrasion Anything from dr. brandt has always been an A+ for my skin. This is unique because you use it as you would a cleanser. Wet your face, lather gently, wait a couple minutes and then rinse. I haven't been able to see any effects from this, but I do like th

Skinfix While YOU Sleep!

Image
**Press Sample** I have had the pleasure of showing off some really great items from Skinfix lately and I am sooo happy to show off something that I have come to fall in love with. This newest item has become a regular in my nightly routine.  With the crazy dryness of the winter, my skin acts up. It gets so mad at me that it breaks out. The Calm and Repair Sleeping Mask brings back the moisture that I need plus it helps reduce the redness that I have going on.  There are four key ingredients in the Calm and Repair Sleeping Mask.  1. Green Tea Extract- this provides an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. This has been helping with my scarring- big time!   2. Manuka Honey Extract- Honey actually helps to heal and pull out any infections or disorders of the skin. It also helps to smooth any rough areas.  3. Micro Hyaluronic Acid-  The micro part of this stumped me too. Skinfix says that hyalunirc acid is often too large to cross the skin barrier

Zoya Party Girls!! Winter/ Holiday Collection- Part 1

Image
**Press Samples** Ohhhhh yes! That is what I said when I opened the box for the Party Girls collection from Zoya. The new Winter/Holiday collection features some really great colors to last you all winter long. I have half of them here to share with you today!  Nadia Nadia is a sparking "ginger" gold metallic. I love this on it's own, but it can be used as a topper if you are looking to put a little sparkle in your weekday mani.  Fallon Zoya describes this as a pearly, mid tone, violet, magenta. For me, it really leaned on the pinky side but in the sunlight, that pearl came through and so did that magenta.  Ming Ok, Every Winter collection needs that sassy red in it. This is that bright, scarlet red that just brings the sexy! I loooooved this color on my skin tone. It didn't lean too purple and it just look so elegant.  Sheri Sheri is the darker version of red with the more garnet red in the collection. I love this just as much
