What I Actually Decided to Wear for 4th of July!!

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** As I mentioned Thursday, this is one of my favorite holidays. I love America and I just love all the celebrations we have this day! I get to celebrate my freedom, all the things my military family does for me and to be honest all the GREAT food!! Of course, I had to go all glitz with my nails. I did a little stamp and glitter earlier this week but for what I am actually rocking today is straight glitz, holo, decals and crelly! I went as skittle as you can go with these nails!  I also picked these polishes because I know they would stay through all of the crazy festivities I have going on this weekend. Between all the good food, tubing, four-wheeling, fireworks and just good 'ol fun I need something that is going to stay. All this heavy duty glitter is going to stay and look good!  Tell me what you are wearing today! Anything special? Do you have any special 4th of July polish? What is it! Do you have any special plans today? Tell ...

AlphaMani does the Letter J with Jindie Nails

Image
We are on week J here and there is no better brand to use than Jindie Nails!! This brand is one of my favorite indies of all time. I mean the squish of the jellies and the glitz of all of the crellies. How could you not love this brand. Jen makes a heck of a polish and she sure knows how to pack a punch in her polishes. Springy with the Jindie  This first combination are two colors that I bought some time ago. Honey Blue Blue is supposed to have a baby blue base and metallic blue and green hexes in varying sizes. When this released in 2012 there was two versions. I got the indigo green leaning version and I kind of love it.  I also used Hot Pink Floyd for the other two nails. This is a hot pink crelly with iridescent glitters scattered throughout. It is actually a matte but I top coated it.   I know, I know I love my mattes to stay matte but I had to throw a top coat on this baby to show the shine!! Colors Used: Honey Blue Blue Hot Pink ...

Jindie Nails Meets Aquadaisy

Image
These are another 2 poloishes that have been sitting in my untrieds to quite some time now. They needed some love so I put them together and they made magic. I am a huuuuge fan of Jindie Nails and everything that Jen does. She is such a sweetheart and I love her polishes. Tried and True is a white crelly with gray, magenta, blue, purple, pink and silver different sized glitters. I love me some Jindie crellys. She always does an awesome crelly. The AquaDaisy is called Shazaam and it is my favorite color- purple!! This is a royal purple with scattered holo and get this, it's a one-coater. I mean, you have to add 2 coats because that's my thing, but it truly is opaque in 1 coat. I picked these two polishes because I think they really rock together. This is my first time using Aquadaisy Nail Polish and it was really nice. The application, the color, the finish. Really nice, overall.  Do you own any Jindie Nails polish?? If so, what is your favorite? How...

Jindie Nails presents Rhythm and Blue

Image
I bought this awesomely awesome polish a couple months ago and since I am blowing through my untrieds because I want to buy MOOOORE, I wore it. I really love Jindie Nails. Jen, the maker of Jindie Nails is not only a really great business person, but she is a really great lady. I am in the Jindie Nails special group and I enjoy it. Jen is always thinking about her product and her customers. She really is one of the most generous indie brands out there.   Rhythm and Blue is one of those famous Jindie jellies. This is the reformulated version as the original is more of a royal blue. This is almost a tealish blue. It has gold and blue hexes, circles and micros as well as some shards. I used 3 coats for this because I really wanted to see the depth of this polish. A true jelly this is with all of the depth of glitter. I think that the contrast of the gold glitter and the deep blue really makes the depth pop. The other thing I really like about this polish is it ...

4th of July Nails KKCenterHk American Nails Decal Review

Image
**Press Samples** We are getting very close to that time and I wanted to share with you these great water decals I was given to review from KKCenterHk. You can find them here and with the product code of     N.NAIL LOVE Apple Flag USA United States Water Decals-WDDK166   Don't forget to follow  KKCenterHk  on: Facebook Google + Twitter Blog I have really been loving the water decals lately. They are like a less permanent stamp!! When you put them on, you can still adjust them. Unlike when you are stamping, you are kind of stuck it is crooked. You can't slide it around to adjust it. With the water decals, you are able to line them up so they look just right.  I picked these just for you patriotic ladies out there. I am going to wear them again for 4th of July, but I just wanted to to get them out early so you can see how cool they are and give you time to order them or maybe something else. If you do decide to order, I am ab...

Nail Art for Nubs presents Memorial Day Nails

Image
Happy Memorial Day!! This is a special day for me! One of my brothers is active military and fights for us every day! I am so proud of him and all that he does for himself and this great country. He is currently stationed in Florida- which is far, far away from us. While he is out protecting our country, he is missing all of the fun things we do as a family. He misses Christmas, Easter, family camping trips, trips to the beach, birthdays and more. These are just a short list of all of the sacrifices he makes to take care of us.  So, if you know someone that is active military you should thank them and think of them often. They miss their families and their families miss them. They put themselves in harms way every second of the day and ask for very little to nothing in return. There is no price tag on putting your life on the line for others.  For this design, I just did a skittlette. A simple, plain skittlette. Yes, I did say "skittlette". This is differe...

GOT Polish Challenge- Something Tropical

Image
Tropical!! I CANNOT WAIT for summer!! For this design, I really wanted to get myself into the bright, summery colors.  I used the LE Sour Skittles from Jindie Nails which has all kinds of lovely neon glitters and that great neon crelly.    I also used this bright pink from frakker lacquer that I won in a giveaway. It is pretty much the perfect bright, neon pink jelly.    I was also able to use the Hawaiian floral water decals that I ALSO won in a giveaway. Lucky me!!   I am really happy about the way that this turned out. I got so many compliments on it. So, that tells me that a) my nails rocked today and b) I am not the only one that NEEDS the sun in my life.    Besides awesomely neoned nails and great new summer polish lines coming, what are some of your summer favorites?? I am most excited about having my kids at home more, vacations, beach and getting my pasty white body in the sun.  ...
