Sephora Holiday 2016 Face Palette

Image
**Gifted to Me** This little pretty was gifted to me for Christmas by a fellow beauty blogger, Frost + Polish,  and I just have to share it because I love it so hard! This mega quad has 2 blush colors, a bronzer, a highlighter, a mirror and a pretty little package.  All of these colors are so beautifully pigmented and look fantastic on my skin tone. Not only are these colors gorgeous BUT the packaging and design is so geometrically beautiful.  They each have the perfect amount of shimmer without being overwhelming. I was a little apprehensive about the highlighter because of the purple and gold. I thought it would look more like a bruise than a highlight, but it looks fantastic. Don't forget to peep at my SnapChat to see how I actually use this. Szizzy12184, in case you don't know.  Not only does this palette come with gorgeous colors, it also comes with a mega huge mirror that is perfect for applying all of this pretty. This was a holiday spe...

Vita Liberata Dry Oil- Another Perfect Prep for Summer

Image
**Press Sample** I am so excited to show you a **new** product from Vita Liberata . I am in love with this brand for all of my out-of-the-sun tanning needs. I am supppper pale, so laying out in the sun to soak up the rays is just not an option for me. Vita Liberata offers a huge array of products to help me have a little color in the summer without risking my skin.  So this product, Self Tan Dry Oil SPF 50 , is just awesome for me. I just rub a little bit on with a glove and let it soak in. It's best to exfoliate before this process but don't forget to skip the moisturizer. You want this to be able to soak in for at least an hour before you wash or anything if you are using the self-tanning effects. You want to apply this in long stroking movements at least 2 hours before soaking up the rays and reapply every 2 hours. This is totally buildable and the SPF... I mean I don't have to look like a florescent person on the beach now. I can have color all while protec...

Rimmel Sculpting Palette Trio and a Bonus Bunny?!

Image
**Press Sample** I have been seeing this little lady from Rimmel London pop up and when I had one show up in the mail, I was super excited. I have been digging all of my palettes, quads and all my multiples kits this year. All-in-one has been my tagline, I swear. It's like, the easier it is, the more I need to add it to my collection- haha. This is a trio sculpting palette that is from the Kate Moss collection through Rimmel London. It is available in 3 shades. I am showing off Coral Glow. They also have Golden Sands and Golden Bronze. It is made up of three pans; a highlighter, a bronzer and a blush. They all look like they have a shimmer to them in the packaging but when I actually wore them (and in the swatches below), the only one with a slight was the bronzer.  The formula was really nice. I have actually made this part of my regular routine, now. The shades are all easily blendable and build really easily. They apply really smoothly and color is vibrant....

NYC New York Color Sun n' Bronze Review

Image
**Press Sample** I was given a new opportunity to check out some new beauty products from NYC New York Color and tell you about them. First up, I have 2 bronzers. I love bronzers in the summer. It is the quickest way to get that sun kissed look without the actual sun damage. This product ranges from $4.50 to $5.50 depending on where you like to shop. If you are interested in finding out more about these products, check out NYC New York Color here: Website Facebook Twitter YouTube Pinterest Instagram The first color I have is Coral Samba (002) This, for me, is more of an evening color. It has the dark tones for that perfect evening look. The product has a slight shimmer in it, but it is not overpowering. I used this in 3 different capacities so it worked ok with the shimmer. The darker colors were used as a bronzer to contour and the pink I used as a blush. I could also see using this as eye shadows if you are looking for something neutral with a shimmer....

Bronzing Without the Rays - Expert Makeup Tips and Review

Image
**Press Sample** I was given a great opportunity it review a couple products from Mary Kay to keep up with my summer time makeup looks. Before the review, I was given a list of tips on how to make my summer look work from Makeup Artist Virginia Linzee. There are a lot of great tips here for your to use in your own Mary Kay application. o    Start with Mary Kay ®  CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in a tone one shade darker than your own. Don’t be afraid! This product is sheer, which means it’s easy to blend. Blend the CC Cream all the way down to the chest and shoulders, if they are showing. o    The next step is to contour using a bronzer like Mary Kay ®  Bronzing Powder. Pick a color that is one to three shades darker than your own. Using a cheek brush, apply exactly where the sun hits the face naturally, especially the hairline, temples, tip of the nose, cheeks and chin. For an all-over glow, hit the shou...
