NCC August Challenge- NEONS

Image
**May Contain Press Samples**   I am soooo far behind in this challenge BUT I have had a suppper busy month! Work has been super stress-fully crazy, but it keeps me busy and pays the bills. Lol! Anyway, I really wanted to participate at least in this months challenge so I went for it all!  I'm using a whole bunch of different neon colors which reminded me that I don't have nearly enough. I think the whole Mentality thing put a damper on that, for me. So, I found as many as I could and went to stamp town!   Colors Used: Orly- Truly Tangerine KB Shimmer- How Low Can You Flamingo? Glam Glaze- Tubular Essie- Butler Please

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents THE 80s!!!

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** The ladies of NCC are back with a fresh theme! I mean who doesn't love the 80s? I sure did! I was still young in the 80s, but I loved wearing the bright outfits and such when I was young. Soooo many great things came out of the 80s. Neons, Inspector Gadget, Reading Rainbow, Skid Row, Bon Jovi, blue mascara, chucks, big hair, Jordache Jeans, Swatch Watches, School House Rocks, Transformers, should I go on?? Lol.... Anyways, you get the point! 80s= greatness.  For the first look, I decided to go all out. All those bright neons that I love so much!! I did a totally rad geometric look. Get it... Totally Rad?! Anyway, I think I have to brush up on my 80s designs because this one leans a little towards tribal. I still love the colors. Now, to plan for the next one. We are supposed to do 4 designs a month and I have been falling short. This month and for the remainder, I am going to try my hardest to complete each design challenge. So, if you ha...

Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Typography

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** Today we start a new theme in The Nail Challenge Collaborative. Since I horrible handwriting to begin with, I am going to rely heavily on decals and stamping. I am, well I am going to try, to do a freehand but if it looks horerendous, it probably won't end up here. You'll only get a peep on SnapChat (szizzy12184). I used water slide decals for this look. They are just conversation bubbles in a cartoon style. My nail beds are super super small, so you will never enjoy the full conversation but you will only get bits and pieces of the conversation... lol. I went for a funky neon set of colors and I love the way they came out. I am a vampy girl at heart but I wanted something bright and fun to get me out of the funk I have been in. Do you like the bright colors? What do you think of this month's theme? Colors Used: Sinful Colors- Why Not? Glam Glaze- Tubular KB Shimmer- Sarong Place, Sarong Time Clubbing Girl- Club Girl ...

Alpha Mani presents the Letter V

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** Ugh!! These last two letters have been torturous! I am telling you, I have literally ripped apart my collection trying to find one brand with the letter "V". NONE!! So... today, you get a V- named polish.  I had fun with this one because we are in the midst of summer and I have yet to slap on any neons. I love my neons during the summer because they are so fun and bright. They make me look oh so tan!! I love the way these colors turned out under the Vectors. It looks kind of like a fun Lisa Frank design on the cheap! lol   Colors Used: Cirque- Vectors Orly- Purple Crush Orly- Highlighter Glam Glaze- Dude! Do you own any "V" polishes? Next week is W and I definitely have a W lined up!! Thank goodness!

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents ANIMALS

Image
**Press Samples**Bought It** Today, I am doing my FIRST post of the Nail Challenge Collaborative monthly theme. I have three more to go, so I need to get my butt in gear. I recently got these Glam Glaze polishes to review from Gloss48, and I instantly knew that I wanted to use them again in a Lisa Frank inspired cheetah design. I have been dying to do a Lisa Frank design with neons and I thought this would be perfect. Now, these aren't my best, but since I have nubbins they were extra hard to do. The best thing about doing the cheetah design is that they don't need to be perfectly straight lines or perfectly round circles. They are animals, so they can be crazy natural designs!! I used a whole slew of neons to complete this look and I am kind of in love with the look. Even with the nubbing of my nails- which I am still bummed about. The winter has been killing my nails. I have been babying them so much so they are on the mend. What do you think of these chee...

Glam Glaze Exclusive Duo from Gloss48

Image
**Press Sample** Today, I have something super fun for you! I have a totally rad duo from Glam Glaze only on Gloss48. This duo is only $14 on Gloss48 is only available for 2 more days!! So HURRRY! These were really fun polishes to work with and I really hope that I can play with this brand again.  Dude! This is a bright blue crelly polish. I used 3 coats in these pictures. It applied a little thick towards the third coat, but it was like a normal crelly. I think this really leans more towards the jelly side so it behaves more like that jelly wherein that you have to let it dry a little before you apply another coat or else it really bunches up. I really like this color. It is a beautiful bright blue and I cannot wait to use it again. I would really like to see this matted out.  Tubular This is an awesome neon yellow crelly color. I used three coats with this one, as well. It was a really nice builder.  I love the formula on this one....
