Sally Hansen has some Fall Shades and they ROCK!

Image
**Press Samples** Salon Manicure collection from Sally Hansen happens to be the owner of my all time favorite brushes. They make for the perfect application with out gooping or having to apply 10 different layers. I love that the bristles are thick and soft. Sally Hansen sent me two shades that are perfect for this upcoming fall weather! Sally Hansen's Fall Collection is a limited edition of 6 colors that are perfection for that sweater weather!  Lan-turn Up Sally Hansen describes this as a molten metallic chrome. I loooove this hybrid of gold, bronze flecked with shimmer. Metallics are still my go to when I am looking for a little sass in my world, especially those leaning gold.  Lan-turn Up wears softly. It doesn't have that abrasiveness of a traditional metallic. I actually have worn this several times and it's the perfect match for those big, oversized sweaters, cuffed jeans and booties.  Tagine Supreme I am totally in love with this color! I...

Yes, Part Duex of the Sophisticates Collection from Zoya

Image
**Press Samples** I am finally getting to show you the second part of the mega Sophisticates Collection from Zoya! Part one was filled with dusty colors that we all lust after for this fall! If you missed it, you can check it out right here !  This collection will yield that same theme.... gorgeousness!!! McKenna McKenna is described by Zoya as being a soft almond with with a refined pearl. I seem to be missing that iridescent that is shown on the Zoya website, but maybe it's a lighting thing? I am ok with the soft almond on it's own, because everyone needs an array of nude shades in their collection, but I wish it would have had the shimmer in it; now that I am seeing the picture online.   Mona This is a perfect example of lighting and what the same color looks like in different light settings. I was going to retake these pictures, but I thought it was so important since I have been seeing such different swatches of these colors especially on the website...

**NEW** Jesse's Girl Goodies!!

Image
**Press Samples** Fall calls for new goodies in my stash and I get to share 2 of my newest goodies that happened to make their way into my daily routine. Jesse's Girl has been my go-to drugstore budget brand because they have such great quality products. I have stumbled across so many favorites from Jesse's Girl that I have otherwise would have spent double the amount of money on.  Jesse's Girl has a really great latex-free blending sponge . It has the hourglass top tip like a usual makeup blender, but it also features a flat top bottom. I looooove this feature! It helps me blend my forehead and cheek area quickly and smoothly. Flip around the sponge and I am able to get my under eyes and nasal creases. It also cleans super easily! This is a struggle for all of my blenders. For only $3.99, I am in! Dial-a-Lash is sooooo awesome! Dial-a-Lash mascara is a lengthening and volumizing mascara all with the twist of a brush. There are 4 different degrees of sass ...

You, BUT Better from Erno Laszlo

Image
**Provided by Influenster** I am suuupppper excited to share a really cool product given to me from Influenster. Erno Laszlo has an entire line of high end skincare and I was given a great opportunity to try out one of the three 2-step masks. I got to try the White Marble Bright, but there is also the Firmarine Lift and the Hydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Treatment.  The kit comes with 4 packets of the powder and 4 packets of the liquid phases. You are supposed to mix them together with the spatula to activate. As you can see below in my videos, I was a bit worried that there was too much, but I didn't have too much excess. Next time I use them, I will be inviting my husband to join in. Minus the mustache and beard, he will have just enough face for the excess.  I choose this formula because I do have a lot of scars and dark spots from my acne struggles over the years. Licorice extract, Lemon extract and Jojoba seed oil is the perfect combination to brighten any ski...

Skin Hacks and Helps from DERMA-E

Image
**Press Samples** DERMA-E  has been making my skin sing with love for quite some time now. Every time I have had a new a problem pop up, Derma-e has come to the rescue. This time, I got to share with family members. My husband and my daughter got to benefit from these two wonders!  Psorzema Cream My daughter has periods of eczema that is very stressful and uncomfortable for her. She's six years old and has super sensitive skin to begin with. When this product came across my doorstep, I was so excited to be able to try it on her. She, at the time, happened to be having a flare up so it was perfect timing. I do have prescription products to use on her, but they are so expensive and have side effects. I would much rather use something that is under $20 and made with vitamins and herbal extracts.  The Psorzema Cream is made with ingredients such as Neem, Burdock, Bearberry, and Vitamins A and E. They all help soften and soothe dry, irritated skin. The way I ...

Seasonal Lip Color You Will Love from Zoya

Image
**Press Samples** Zoya has been cranking out some fantastic lip colors and I was so excited to see the lineup for their Seasonal line. Sticking with the dusty theme of their Sophisticates Collection, the colors in this collection are some of my personal favorites.  I will say that I am a little sad that there isn't a matte in the collection, but that's just my personal bias towards mattes that's giving me that sadness! Each of these colors applied smoothly and felt just as smooth during wear. Tommy was the only color that gave me a little bit of a struggle during appellation, but I feel like that goes with any deep, dark purple, black or blue. That's deep pigment makes for tricky application. I found it best to apply in continuous stokes in the same direction so you don't get the pigment balled up.  💜Bristol is a medium berry tone that has pink undertones. 💜Izzy is a little brighter than Bristol which Zoya describes as a deep fuchsia. 💜Addie is a b...

Zoya is Ringing in the Fall with the Sophisticates Collection

Image
**Press Samples**  I seriously love all Fall collections! The creep into my world of vampiness is just so crisp and sleek. The among of mauves and muted colors this season are sooo awesomely ridiculous that I can almost not even handle it! I decided to break these collection down into two parts for you so you can seriously enjoy!  Beth Sandy is kind of a mixed bag for me. The bottle shot on the Zoya website shows this as being a super pale, iridescent pink. To my surprise, it's more like a champagne gold as opposed to the pictorial description of the pink glitz. I am so sad! It's still a super pretty color, but not what I thought at all. I do love that there's a lighter gold in this collection because it's matches perfectly with all of those dusty pinks. What's better than a dusty pink and gold combination?? Nothing! lol Hera Zoya describes Hera as a muted red mauve creme. I say muter watermelon! Let's call this a muted Winne (from Wande...
