NYC New York Color Showtime Eyeliner is Perfect for us Lazy Babes!

Image
**Press Sample** I am super excited to share these new products from NYC New York Color! I shared some new lippies with you last week and now I have something for your eyes. The Show Time Eyeliner are the latest and greatest to come from NYC New York Color and I have been using them all week long! I have two shades to share with you. Purple Glam is on the top and Deep Brown is on the bottom. They are super unique looking and actually made me nervous, at first. They have a cone-shape tip for an applicator. It kind of looks like when you unwind your lipstick all the way up. I was afraid that the entire thing was going to fall off at first swipe, but it didn't. The formula is smooth and creamy and it feels ultra soft on the lid. It did take a little bit to get used to the thicker tip but I start thick on the outer corner and use a brush to pull it in thinner. These also come in two other colors of Deep Grey and True Black. Would you try these? How do you feel about the p...

Easy Makeup Look from NYC New York Color ft. Expert Last Matte Lip Lacquer

Image
**Press Sample** Today, I am bringing you a simple everyday makeup look and it's all by NYC New York Color. I was recently given the NOHO MATTE NUDE shade from the Expert Last Matte Lip Lacquer collection to try out. Now, you know my love for all things matte so of course, I jumped all over this! This lip lacquer is so velvety and creamy and goes on with perfection. It is a perfect deep nude and once it sets has a fantastic staying power. I love wearing this to work because it is the perfect neutral color and goes with just about any outfit choice. I also decided to pair this with the Sparkle Eye Dust in the colors Brown Luster and Amber Glitz. I used the Amber Glitz in the inner corner of my eyes and the Brown Luster on the outer corners and blended them together. If you want to learn more about the Sparkle Eye Dusts, you can check out my full post here .

NYC New York Color City Proof 24 Hour Eye Shadow is My NUMBER ONE!

Image
**Press Sample** Today, I have 4 fantastic 24 hours stay shadow crayons from NYC New York Color. I am super excited about these because they are all in the hot metallic shades that have been making me squee since the start of Fall. This is a collection of 24 hour CityProof stays that are big fat crayons and go on in one swipe right across your lid. I love these because they are super easy to blend. Literally, you swipe them right across your lid and then dot another in your crease and you are done with your smoky eye. As you can see here, the colors are gorgeous! All metal in their glory, I have been rocking them almost every day. These are only $2.99 so with colors this pretty and for a price that great, you can't pass these up. What do you think of these colors? Are you into all of the metallic shades this Fall?

It's Halloween... This is What I am Wearing!

Image
**Press Samples** So... today is Halloween and this is what I am rocking. Thanks to the wonderful people over at NYC New York Color, I have a really fun and colorful design on my face. I didn't create an actual character this year, I just went for fun.  Colors Used: Face: NYC New York Color- New York At Night  NYC New York Color- East River Romance NYC New York Color- Rockefeller Center Snowflakes NYC New York Color- Wall Street Bronze I'm not sure exactly what this character is but I kind of like it. I used a really, really light foundation and then just went to town. I whited out my eyes, outlined the white in electric blue and then added some spikes.  I also then outlined my lips in black and then did an inner color with the electric blue. Again, even though I'm not really someone or something, I am in love. I do wish I would have use a better primer so my pores aren't so porous but I'm learning for next time! To match up with...

My Summer is Officially OVER!! What Were My Favorites?

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** Well today officially marks the last weekend of MY summer! Tomorrow is the first day that my freshman start school.  I can say that my summer flew by too quick and I really did nothing! My son starts school soon and before we know it, it will be Christmas! AGHHHH! Well, maybe I am rushing it there but what I am trying to say is I am super sad that my summer is gone :( Anyway, I wanted to do a round up of some of my summer fave posts. So, here we go... Butter London! This brand has made my summer. I have been minimal makeup this summer. Like mascara and lipstick all summer long! I have been rocking the lip crayons (which I will show a little lower down) and the Iconolast mascara all summer long. It is such a great mascara. The wand is just awesome. I did this post on the Shine Out Loud Collection    My Birthday Nails!   I loved this design. I used nail studs from Born Pretty Store and some Barielle colors. They are ...

GOT Polish Challenge Wraps Up with Brown

Image
It is time to say goodbye to Golden Oldie Thursdays, but I promise next week we are starting with something suuuuper fun. It is a combination of some of the past challenges, so get ready!! I decided to use 3 really fun and Fall brown colors for this design. I used different textures with dots and swirls to give it some added depth.  Overall, I really like this design for being all browns.  First, I painted my nail with the Hot Chocolate and then I swirled half of my nail with the Leather loose. I tried to get creative and once it was almost dried I lightly blotted a paper towel on it to create a texture. Well, it didn't work so well. You can kind of see it on some nails. I then divided the two nail polishes with a swirl line of the Park Ave and lined that with dots of the Leather Loose. Colors Used: Revlon- Hot Chocolate Sinful Colors- Leather Loose   NYC New York Color- Park Ave An InLinkz Link-up

Wrapping Up Summer with Stamping Designs from Manglaze and JustRica

Image
To wrap up all this summer fun, I wanted to do a fun anchors and rope stamp design with some Manglaze and JustRica. The stamping is a little hard to see, but trust me it's there.   The stamper that I used for this was one that I got from KKCenterHk. It's a rubber stamper and I really liked using it. You can check out that original post, here . Although, it's pretty messy and you have to have a lot of space to actually stamp with it.   I really liked the overall design, in my head. Yet again, when I go to throw it out on my nails, it doesn't look like the beauty it did on my nails. That's ok!!  Since I am starting to wrap up my summer nails, I am getting super excited for my fall nails. I have just a few more summer looks and I am starting to play with my fall pretties. I am so excited for all of the fall lines and I am even more excited to play with the my new fall stamping plates. Hopefully I get some more practice between now and then. ...

I have a nude that I got in an Influesnter VoxBox  that I absolutely love.  You can pick one up from between $2.00 and $3.00 depending on where you shop. You can always find coupons for these products even $3.00 is a great deal for this.  If you like this product and want to learn more about NYC New York Color products, you can check them out here: Website Facebook Twitter YouTube Pinterest Instagram Papaia is a peachy shimmer color that leans a lot towards pink than orange when applied. It is from the New York City Sambda Collection. It does look a little orange in the tube, but it does not come out like that. It looks like a shine gloss when applied, so it's sheer. ...

NYC New York Color Sun n' Bronze Review

Image
**Press Sample** I was given a new opportunity to check out some new beauty products from NYC New York Color and tell you about them. First up, I have 2 bronzers. I love bronzers in the summer. It is the quickest way to get that sun kissed look without the actual sun damage. This product ranges from $4.50 to $5.50 depending on where you like to shop. If you are interested in finding out more about these products, check out NYC New York Color here: Website Facebook Twitter YouTube Pinterest Instagram The first color I have is Coral Samba (002) This, for me, is more of an evening color. It has the dark tones for that perfect evening look. The product has a slight shimmer in it, but it is not overpowering. I used this in 3 different capacities so it worked ok with the shimmer. The darker colors were used as a bronzer to contour and the pink I used as a blush. I could also see using this as eye shadows if you are looking for something neutral with a shimmer....
