GOT Polish Challenge presents Gradient

Image
I made it!! Again, through another challenge. The good news for this is that we have yet another round. We are scheduled up until September. As you can see, this week is gradient. Sometimes it's pretty difficult to find one really old polish to use, now to dig out 3 old polishes that matched to a gradient was a little tricky. I wanted to go really old school for this, so I dug out some really old school polishes. The NYC and Black Radiance are super old. I think I found the Black Radiance in my moms room when I was younger and the NYC was like my first glitter.   I did a glitter gradient which is a little easier for me because you can use the glitter to kind of blend the two colors. The Golden Rose did not like to play with the others because it is super iridescent. I thought this would make it easier to blend in the gradient, but nope. Next week will be the start of a new set of challenges. Turquoise will be the first one. I have the perrrfect polish...

Kiss Nail Art Gradient Tutorial

Image
* This product was provided by the company or Public Relations company for the purpose of a review. No other compensation was received.  . As many of you have seen, I received the latest VoxBox from Influesnter. It is the Rose Vox Box and contained some pretty cool things! This being one of them. Now, you all know my love for beauty. My love for nail polish and nail art is obviously 75 times stronger! I was super excited to use this product. I love doing gradients, but the hardest part is to pick the right colors that will gradient the right way.  As you can see, Kiss provides you with three colors that go well together and really easy to use instructions.   So, here is my little mini tutorial. It's pretty easy as you can see!

Nail Challenge Collaborative #4

Image
Last one... and of course I started doing these lovlies about a year ago when everyone was doing the gradient tips, I took the back way- like always and did the opposite. Like instead of looking like the tips are dipped in glitter, it looks like the tips were dipped in polish. So, to recreate this look it's pretty simple, but time staking. First, start with a base coat. Second, dip a blob of glitter at the base. Thirdly, slowly pull the glitter up from the blob. Pull it up in varying strokes to create a blended look. The Liquid Lacquer I used is totally packed with glitter, so it was a little harder to pull. The idea is to make the bottom look thicker or more opaque than the top.  So this is it... Slightly hard to photograph because of all of the sparkle, but you get it! OPI- Barre My Soul Liquid Lacquer- No Name Technique Month 4  1. Lit From Within - Nidia...

Winnings from Hit Polish and a Little Bettina

Image
*All polishes in this post were won in giveaways by ColorMeSoCrazy My winnings from Hit Polish are over some Bettina. Hit Polish was one of my first indie polishes and I feel in love ever since then. I currently own over 20 Hit Polishes and I am constantly seeing more that I love and NEED!! As for the Bettina, I love these polishes. I only own 3 and they are beautiful colors with great application. This is the last of the three that I won from a giveaway Kit & Caboodle gradient accent nails! Super cute and I love the 80s combo. The Bettina is a yellow with a lean towards green, but it is a perfect 80s color. Hit Polish- Kit & Caboodle Bettina- Kiwi

Summer Mani Challenge- Summer Glitter

Image
I love this idea, I just have no idea (big surprise) what Summer Glitter actually is. I usually take most of these interpretations in my own way- which you all know is unique! It's so hard to interpret what meaning your text has behind it or the tone of the person writing it. This is why I think Emojis are sooo great! If I am stern, I will add a little sad face and if I am happy, I will add a smile face. So with my little rant about text interpretation, I hope you enjoy my summer glitter!! I used Glitzology- Teal-licious as my base and then did a gradient with Jordana-Celebration. On my middle finger I did a blend of the Glitzology, Jordana and Funky Fingers- Diva! I LOOOOOOVE GLITTER!! Glitzology- Teal-icious Jordana- Celebration Funky Fingers- Diva

Glitter Bomb and Gradient

Image
Glitter Bomb Baby!!! I was in the mood for a good glitter bomb in my life, so I just blew it up!! hehe This is another pic heavy post- so enjoy!! Anyway- I was give the OPI as a sweet kind gift and the rest I bought with my own monies! The first two pictures I have are the full hand full of glitter gradient. I really really like doing gradients and they are especially easy to do them with glitter. For some reason, I find they blend a little better. The remainder of the pictures are the OPI on all fingers except my accent finger which is the gradient. For the gradient, I had the OPI at the bottom and blended up to the Star Dust and then Pinky Glitter. I hope you enjoy this tick, tick, tick, tick BOOM dynamite!
