Shining Gold Christmas Tree ft. KB Shimmer

Image
*Nothing to Disclose* Every year you always see those nail artists that have those awesome striped Christmas tree designs. I love doing these and since I am loving the color gold so hard this season I decided to add it to my tree. I was given Pine-ing for Yule as a gift and I love it so hard. I mean look at those triangle glitters!! You have to love those! They were a little difficult to get out, but they are awesome looking. I really love this tree this year because it is classic. I usually put decorations on it but, I decided to keep it plain with the gold wrap. I used a red star from the Pine-ing for Yule as a topper. I love the way it turned out. Colors Used: Maybelline- Bold Gold JustRica- Whiteout KB Shimmer- Pine-ing For Yule OMG- Emerald What are your favorite designs to do for the holidays? I have a couple more coming your way so stay tuned.

Turkey Lurkey with a Steelers TWIST!!

Image
So, this is piggybacking directly off of my Turkey Tutorial posted earlier today. Here is my Roethlisturkey mani. The Steelers are playing the Ravens at 8:30pm in Baltimore. I have a lot of jokes about the Ravens because they are kind of the joke of the Super Bowl champs among us. I mean 5 and 6 for the season... Damn, you just won the Super Bowl at least have your wins out number your losses. That's ok, the Steelers will be giving them another loss. Just chalk it up. So, I want to do this post just like I did the last one with all the fun facts of the history of Steelers vs Ravens. My prediction is 20-17 STEELERS!! Steelers did beat the Ravens when they matched up earlier this year and went away with a win 19-16 Over the last 10 years (25 games) The Steelers have been victorious 14 times Q: What's the difference between the Baltimore Ravens and a dollar bill?  A: You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.  Q: What is the difference betwee...

Thanksgiving Turkey Tutorial

Image
Ok guys... This is a challenge for me! Last year I did my famous Turkey that is still being reposted like crazy on Pinterest. I decided to do a tutorial of that same mani and recreate it a whole YEAR later. Fun, right?? Well, now that I have been doing nail art for a full year some of the scrangie techniques I did last year don't work so well now. So, I did a little improvising. I have my little turkey lurkey tutorial. Since it is a Steelers Football day, the colors will be in accordance with my Pittsburgh team... just an FYI for those of you that are like, "turkeys are not black, yellow and white". I know!!! The colors I used are: Sinful Colors- Snow Me White Dandy Nails- Colorblind Maybelline- Onyx Rush Maybelline- Fierce and Tangy OMG! Nails- Indian Red Colors Used Tutorial for the Turkey face: 1.Apply the base color of black and then  make 2 white ovals with a very thick ended dotting tool. 3. Sonoma Nail Art and OMG Does Halloween

Image
Yes! Another "witch combo". I think these purples during Halloween remind me of the witching hours and I loooooooove it! Yes, purple is my favorite color <3 Anywho, I am totally in love with the OMG crystal sands. They are sooo pretty and sparkly and definitely a dupe for some of the Zoyas. I did not top coat them because I really like the rough texture. It soothes me throughout the day<---------Polish Addict Words. I also must say that the polish is fairly easy to take off. I use the cotton ball-piece-let rest method. I will have to tutorial this, but I first saw it when I tried the foil remover method. I only had enough cotton balls for 6 fingers, so I tore pieces off to share with the other 4 nails. Anyway, I'll save the other 12 paragraphs of this tutorial for another day! So onto the love of purple montage!! Enjoy and stay tuned for my last post of this SPOOKY DAY! Sonoma Nail Art- Halloween in the Vines OMG- Opal

Philly Loves Lacquer and OMG Does Halloween

Image
*Both polishes in this post were won in giveaways and not purchased by me. I have not received any compensation from either.  Ahhhhhhh pure Halloween!! I won 2 polishes from Philly Loves Lacquer  just in time for the happy holiday. I haven't used the second one yet, but I have a great plan for it. It's pretty awesome.  For this mani, I used the OMG without a topcoat, because I have that weird thing with feeling the crystal sand. I also put a coat of Sinful Colors Citrine under the Philly Loves Lacquer to make it pop. Philly Loves Lacquer says this a Halloween polish and to commemorate a rival hockey team in Philadelphia that I cannot mention, but I will ignore that part since I am a Pittsburgh Girl! This baby has " micro hexes, micro bars, stars, dots, rectangles, and matte orange hexes, ultrafine orange micro glitter, and orange holo hex" all in that bottle. Good thing is, I didn't even have to fish! Ok, so I'm a fan of hers already! So, to bump th...
