Summer Combination ft. KB Shimmer, Karma's Kiss, Sinful Colors and Finger Paints

Image
**Winnings** Today, I have a nice end of summer look to share with you. This is a cute skittlette and some of my favorite color combinations. I recently won these colors in in a giveaway and I just could not wait to get them all together. I saw them all in the bottles separately and knew they would be great together. This is also my first time using Karma's Kiss so I was super excited to get these on. Totally Tubular is a great glitter polish from KBShimmer. This is a teal blue polish with fuchsia large and small circles, blue hexes, aqua circles and a whole lot of other glitter packed in there. I love this color. It was so nice to apply and the glitter spread so nicely. Sinful Colors Hazard was surprisingly nice. Surprisingly because hazard would remind me of a blindingly bright orange color and this is not. It is a nice smooth, beautiful coral color. I really, really like this color.  Finally, Karma's Kiss in Tip Top is a linear and scattered holographi...

And yet more Red, White and Blue

For this quick and easy design, I stamped a couple patriotic designs and glittered the heck out of my ring finger. I really like the USA colors of red, blue and white. I think they work really well complimenting each other and just look so sharp. Go USA!! I stamped a USA star on my index finger and topped it with Finger Paints flakie. For my middle finger, I stamped stars in both red and blue. For my ring finger, I glittered the heck out of it with LA Girl- Celebrate, large loose star glitter and the Finger Paints flakie. For my pinkie, I stamped a star burst in red and then stamped silver stars on top.  Colors Used: Orly- Star Spangled Orly- Sweet Peacock Revlon- Sequin L.A. Well, I didn't really do any nail art for this one but starting Monday, it will be full blown tuts or all Halloween art!! For this I just did every other nail with both base colors. I then used the Finger Paints as my accent nails. You all know that I like to switch up my accent nails. I never like to do the traditional so I use different nails than the traditional ring finger accent. I always get nervous using bar glitter, because it usually curls or sticks up or does weird things. This one was not that bad. I had to trim a little around the nail, but it stayed down pretty well. So, enjoy the straight fall gallery. LA Colors- Force Cosmetic Arts- Dark Green Finger Paints- Gourd or Bad?

Throwback Thursday

Image
Yes, I made it. On the correct day!! It's Throwback Thursday with Finger Paints!! You all know that purple is my favorite color and being that I am getting super close to the huge alumni celebration with the fraternity that I advise, I am practicing the purple thing. This is my go to purple for any fraternity related nail art, but I have so many purples that this became an untried recently. The name of this polish is Lavender Highlight, which I am not so sure about. It is not a bright purple or neonish at all. It is like the closest to a royal purple that I can get. It is like so creamy and smooth and perfect. I really enjoy the Finger Paints brand, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. so, I will just enjoy from grab bags and such.  Finger Paints- Lavender Highlight

Ok so I am soooo excited about this post for 2 reasons. 1) I got this polish as an early BDay gift from my dear friend Stephanie and A Little Polish and because I am representing my lovely fraternity boys again. I have posted and dedicated manis to them many of times, but this is the first for this year. This week is Greek Week at the Univesity that I work at and, for those of you who don't know, I advise a fraternity. Yes. A fraternity. All boys! I love them dearly and they drive me insane, but I really enjoy working with them. Well anyway. Yesterday kicked off Greek Week with Greek Games. Of course, my son and I were there to volunteer our time and at the same time cheer on the boys! They did a really great job and loved this mani!!! I want to add that this polish from Liquid Lacquer was awesome. The application was great and the removal was even better. Usually I have to scrub my glitter off my nails with a metal scrubbing pad, but not with this. It remo...
