So, the little darling sat up and watched me stamp. I decided to do something really sweet and simple. Cute little flowers. All of the colors that I am using this month remind me of little dainty flowers and I am really glad that I got to do some stamping. Again, here are the colors I used.... These are my stamps! Tri-Polish Challenge September 2 and Throwback all in One!

Image
....and I made it!! I decided to do a crazy tape mani for this one since I I wanted to try the whole crosshatch technique. Well, it took a little longer than I wanted...but I think it was worth it. Again, the challenge is to be given three colors- this month is Lilac, Blue and Pink- and then do 4 different manis with the colors. You must use at least 2 of the colors on at least 1 nail. You can use black, white, silver and gold as well. I always try to do at least 2 colors on all nails and at least 1 with all three. That is my little bonus I added for myself! As you can see above, these are the colors I am using again. Below is my little tape creation. I did three with a little crosshatch pattern and 1 with a plaid pattern. I also threw in the 1 solid for the throwback aspect!! The Maybelline- Shocking Seas is the only new that did not come from my un trieds pile. So-- for my Throwback Thursday I have Maybelline- Shocking Seas! Enjoy the rest of the visual party below! ...

Tri Polish Challenge- September

I 'm back baby!! Ok, I am absolutely doing all four posts of the Tri-Polish challenge even if they are not on the correct days, I will force myself back into this. This month has been so crazy for me. My son started football which is 3 nights a week, then he has games and CCD on the weekends.  My daughter moved from a crib to a big girl bed and from diapers to underwear. My job went from calm to crraaazy. So, I have been going through this adjustment phase that is not smooth. I was just saying that I received my ILNP package and I didn't even have to want/need to open it. It took me 3 DAYS to open it. That is just a sin again the Polish Bible. So, I am going to force myself back into a routine... Back to the matter at hand. The colors this month are LILAC, BLUE AND PINK. So, I chose......   Sinful Colors- Candy Coated Sinful Colors- Boom Boom Maybelline- Shocking Seas

Tri- Color Challenge August 4

I made it... an entire month!!! All four manis now submitted!!! This last one I decided to throw up the stripes again. I was going to do a whole Rastafarian theme, but I had to go to work with this mani on, so that was denied. For someone reason since these colors are so elementary to me which reminds me of very basic shapes. Squares, triangles, circles lines. I guess it just flows naturally... Anyway enjoy and stay tuned for next month!!  NYC- High Line Green  American Apparel- Sunshine State  Revlon- Saucy

I have made it!! 3/4 of the way there... This week I decided to do some more tape manis! I started off last month with 0 rolls of striping tape and now, thanks to my great friend Stephanie, I have about 10!! I have never used the actual tape in a mani, but I have used it to do those perfect skinny lines. I like the abstract look that I do. It's so simple to just place the tape and then pull it up. I used 2 of the colors- either a red and yellow or red and green underneath, waited a loooooong time for it to dry, then slapped the tape down and then painted over with either yellow or green. Any who, ENJOY!!  NYC- High Line Green  American Apparel- Sunshine State  Revlon- Saucy

Ok!! I have made it to two out of the four!! I am almost back on track and late again. Sorry about it! I work in higher ed and we had 2000 freshmen move in and orient to the University this week- I am the event planner!! So, crazy is to say the least. Anyway, I just did a simple dotty for this installation. Quick dot rows with the three colors of red, green and yellow. Enjoy!  NYC- High Line Green  American Apparel- Sunshine State  Revlon- Saucy

Tri- Polish Challenge- August

So, I am back on track! Well, totally late, but I am back. This month we have some fab colors. I always think Rastafarian when I see this combo, but I do like the colors together. I chose NYC- High Line Green, American Apparel- Sunshine State and Revlon- Saucy. I really wanted to do all matte colors, but I decided for the creme and shimmer to challenge myself on what I can do with that combo. This first one I did is the attempt at the famous "waterfall mani". The Nailasaurus was the first one I saw do this and I have been putting it off just for the Crumpets TPC. If you would like to see her tutorial, I have linked it here for you. I think I can perfect it further, but I am pretty happy with it. Hope you all enjoy!!    NYC- High Line Green  American Apparel- Sunshine State  Revlon- Saucy
