Color Me So Crazy

**Press Samples** This weeks challenge was super fun and I super love the way this came out. I love the color combo, I love the fish braid, and I love the way the non-glitter topper came out. I just love it.  So, a little bit about the colors... The prompt was to use a non-glitter topper. I immediately thought, "oh sooo easy". Yeah, not so much. I did decide to use a holo topper and my Fantasy Fire for this prompt. I think they worked out great. I haven't used my Fantasy Fire in a long time and I am glad that I dug it out. On top of the fish braid and non-glitter topper prompt, we also have to use our oldest polishes. That's why I dug that baby out. Anyway, I am absolutely going to use this one again because it looks so pretty over just about any polish. Evidence- look at these pictures!! Next weeks prompt is Flowers and Pale Blue. Glitter Bomb Baby!!! I was in the mood for a good glitter bomb in my life, so I just blew it up!! hehe This is another pic heavy post- so enjoy!! Anyway- I was give the OPI as a sweet kind gift and the rest I bought with my own monies! The first two pictures I have are the full hand full of glitter gradient. I really really like doing gradients and they are especially easy to do them with glitter. For some reason, I find they blend a little better. The remainder of the pictures are the OPI on all fingers except my accent finger which is the gradient. For the gradient, I had the OPI at the bottom and blended up to the Star Dust and then Pinky Glitter. I hope you enjoy this tick, tick, tick, tick BOOM dynamite! Fancy me!!! I love this vampy combo!! This NOPI was one of the picks I got from my "nail lady" and I love it! I'm just not ready to break out my pastels full time for spring yet. I love dark colors and I very well may stay with them through the summer. I also really love doing glitter gradients. Some people can do phenomenal stamping and some people can do phenomenal waters...me- I can do pretty good gradients. I also want to add, that I am really trying to make an effort with posting every day. My life, as you know, has been pretty crazy lately. My nails are my therapy. Often times, I just paint them and then never document them. I really want to start showing the world my love. Now that my nails have finally grown and my NailTek is working wonders, I can do some cool things. Now that my winter challenge is wrapping up, I can try to concentrate on my 52 weeker. The winter challenge will be changing to a monthly one, so that will be good. Any, the challenge was violet. Soooo many things I can do. I choose my Jindie matted out because a) I found it and b) it turned out gorg (just as I pictured in my head). Back story: I wanted to try this Jindie when I first bought it. I pulled it out, ended up cooking dinner, cleaning up and putting my kids to bed. I sat down to do my mani and "BAM" it was gone! I suspected my daughter of taking it and asked her for a straight week where it was. She told me "no" every time! Welp, a couple weeks later, I found her stash!! 3 polishes, lip gloss, a sponge, several key chains and about $5 in change! Mini kelpto if I can say so! So, I put it back in my untrieds and just recently stumbled upon it again. I thought it would match perfectly with my violet so it was my accent for this challenge. AND IT DID! I hope ...

Last night was my Christmas, yes I said Christmas, party for the bar I moonlight at. I wanted to go with a sassy mani and I knew for some time I wanted to retry the needle art I did during Christmas. I did! I looove these colors! Even though I say I am a dark color girl, I love Barbie colors. I got a lot of compliments and questions about how I did it! Good thing I have the best neighbor probably in the whole nail polish world! A Little Polish let me borrow Ecopolo last week and I knew I was saving it for a good time. Well my Ecopolo group is now having themed weeks. So at first I was sooo excited because I love this groups. The girls are really fab! As I have mentioned before, I am already part of 2 other weekly challenges, so hopefully I can keep up with this one! Anyway, this week is Ecopolo Week. We do have a polish, which are in the pictures, called Ecopolo. I was also thinking that if I have time, I would like to feature the polish of some of the other ladies in the Ecopolo group that make polish. GLITTER BOMB!!! As promised, here are my bombs!! I fell in love with Hit Polish when the whole indie thing was hot. I bought 12 polishes from Rachel at DandRApothecary Etsy Store and every single one is gorgeous!! Not to mention, the store was great to deal with and excellent customer service. Now that my love affair plug is over, we can drool at the sparkle. l decided to do each nail with my favorite glitters, because I looooove glitter too much to just pick one!
