Alpha Mani is back with QRS

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** So we smushed QRS into one week because well, try to start naming all the brands that start with those letters... yeah. That's why. Well, I guess if you really started you can get a lot of "S" polishes but I guess we are in the homestretch here! I went with Shirley Ann Nail Lacquer because I haven't used her polishes in a while and I was thinking about how she was doing. I used to swatch from her and I was a huge fan of the collections she started to put out. The last couple were a Frozen collection, Ninja Turtles, Villians just to name a couple. I was so excited in the direction she was going.  I know the maker got married and then decided to start a family. I soooo hope she comes back soon because I loved what she was doing! Her glitters were so fun and colorful and her cremes and shimmers were always spot on! She was new, but she had a ton of potential! Her Shirley Ann Nails... get the hint!! I am also doing a sneak peek ...

My Daughters First Ballet Recital

Image
Today is my baby girls first dance recital. I am so proud of her and how much she has learned and grown as a young dancer. I was a ballerina for such a long time so of course as soon as I could, my daughter was signed up for dance. She has done so well. She learned so much and has really turned into a little dancer.    This week has been super crazy with rehearsals, family in town and just all over excitement for her big day. I have been so busy that I almost forgot to get some nails going for her.  To help celebrate my kids in any of their important milestones, I like to do matching nails. Same goes for this! For this design, I did a simple double coat of Barre my Soul from the OPI NYC Ballet Collection. I had almost the whole collection, but I sold most of them so I am in the market to buy them back and even finish my collection. Anyone?? hehe Anyway, I added a little ruffle art to represent a tutu and bow that I got from Shirle...

Shirley Ann Nail Lacquer presents Posies and Peonies

Image
** Press Sample** I looove this shimmer!! I mean, come on! This is another beauty from Shirley Ann Nail Lacquer. If you are a regular follower, you know that I work with her often. She is super creative and always has great polishes coming my way. I love this one!! It is super cute for the spring and summer months. I looove it both over black and on it's own. I think it has enough glitter in it on it's own that it can be worn solo.  In these pictures I have 2 coats over Wet n' Wild Ebony Hates Chris and then 2 coats over just a base coat on my ring finger.  This polish kind of reminds me of grafittish. It's got such a delicate name, but I can see it having a lot of grunge potential.  Be sure to check this shop swatches, updates, and discounts out on: Facebook Instagram If you want to buy some of these lovlies or just browse the goodies, check out:   Shirley Ann Nail Lacquer shop! !
