Brows from NYC New York Color. I Got Some Demi, Too!

Image
**Press Samples** I was given these two beauties from NYC New York Color to show off to all of you. We all know Demi Lovato is super hot right now and her Lovatics line through NYC New York Color is just as hot. If you want to see these in use, be sure to check out my Snapchat next week! Szizzy12184 is my name and you should be following me anyway because I just crack myself up! The first piece of this little duet is the Lovatics by Demi Eyebrow Liner from NYC New York Color . Such a great idea! This is a creamy, medium brown, liner capped with a stiff bristled brush. This liner only comes in two shades. Medium brown and dark brown which makes it a little difficult for us light browed ladies. The medium brown was good to apply then blend out. The formula is super creamy and easy to apply. The brush is awesome for shaping those last minute flyaways. Love, love, love this and it's only $1.99! What?!?! To seal the deal is the NYC New York Color Showtime Lash & Bro...

Red Coat Tuesday: Yup, Not Even Sure Why?!?

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** Ok, here I am doing another Red Coat Tuesday, but to be honest again, I have not watched past the first episode of this season. It just doesn't have me. I am waiting for Scream Queens to come back! Maybe we will do a SQ roundup instead! For this weeks design, I did a glitter gradient and then flipped it up on my ring finger. I used a deep oxblood as my base and fun sparkly red on top. I'm planning on catching up on vacation next week so hopefully I'll come back and have some show updates for you. If it's not catching me, I'm going to have to pass! Have you watched this season at all? What am I missing? Colors Used: Maybelline- Dressed to Kill NYC New York Color- Ruby Slippers

NYC New York Color Summer Balms

Image
**Press Samples** Happy Wednesday everyone!! Today, I have a nice and light (literally) post for you. NYC New York Color has put out a new line of lip balms and they are soooo perfect for these hot days.  Cool Nude Cool Nude is the first shade I have to show you. Since this is a balm, it literally is nude and no color on my lips. I did see a slight shimmer in the actual tube, but I didn't see any on my lips after I applied it. Fashionable Fuchsia This is a watermelon pink color and it's my favorite out of the collection. I'm not sure if I love it so much because it has a nice pinky tint or because of it's name. It's so fun! Anyway, this does leave a little more tint than the Cool Nude and it would look nice layered over a nude lipstick that needs a little tint. In Vogue Red Lastly, I have the red of the collection. As you can see it's not a pure pigmented red, but it's tinted. Keep that in mind when you see these colors. It...

NYC New York Color Showtime Eyeliner is Perfect for us Lazy Babes!

Image
**Press Sample** I am super excited to share these new products from NYC New York Color! I shared some new lippies with you last week and now I have something for your eyes. The Show Time Eyeliner are the latest and greatest to come from NYC New York Color and I have been using them all week long! I have two shades to share with you. Purple Glam is on the top and Deep Brown is on the bottom. They are super unique looking and actually made me nervous, at first. They have a cone-shape tip for an applicator. It kind of looks like when you unwind your lipstick all the way up. I was afraid that the entire thing was going to fall off at first swipe, but it didn't. The formula is smooth and creamy and it feels ultra soft on the lid. It did take a little bit to get used to the thicker tip but I start thick on the outer corner and use a brush to pull it in thinner. These also come in two other colors of Deep Grey and True Black. Would you try these? How do you feel about the p...

NYC New York Color Get It All Lip Color

Image
**Press Sample** I am back at the lip game. This last week was a little crazy between my Birthday and a family member getting very sick. I am back to the bizzz though, so get ready! I have 3 fabulous lipsticks to show you and they will not break the bank.  NYC New York Color has been pumping out all kinds of really great products lately and their quality has been really impressive. These are only $2.99 each and better yet; you can find them at just about any drug and grocery store. The key features are the creamy, long lasting formula. The colors are vibrant and rich. PINKdigious PINKdigious This is a bubble gum pink color with a slight, very slight shimmer. This is a very pretty color and I really can't get enough of these kinds of pinks. I love these with a little summer color on my skin; it really makes the color pop.  TerrifiCORAL TerrifiCORAL This creamy coral color is perfect for any skintone. Coral is like the only color that can be wor...

NYC New York Color Individual Eyes All-in-One

Image
**Press Sample** This neat little palette came to me from NYC New York Color and it's pretty much an all-in-one. There are 4 colors for your lids, a gel liner, an illuminator and a primer. It makes for the perfect gym buddy or something to bring on a weekend out of town.  I got the palette in the color Bronze Nudes. I love the neutral tones throughout the colors. They are my perfect everyday colors. How to use this: Apply the primer. This should be done from the lid all the way up to the brow bone.  Use the "All Over Lid" color for your lid and a little bit into the crease. Use the "Crease" shade from the outside crease and in as far as you want to go. I like to go halfway until I blend it and then go further if I want more of a dramatic look.  Use the "Outline" to apply to the outer corner of the eye and along the lash line. You will also want to do this on the corner of the eye.   5. Next, you want to use the "G...

Easy Makeup Look from NYC New York Color ft. Expert Last Matte Lip Lacquer

Image
**Press Sample** Today, I am bringing you a simple everyday makeup look and it's all by NYC New York Color. I was recently given the NOHO MATTE NUDE shade from the Expert Last Matte Lip Lacquer collection to try out. Now, you know my love for all things matte so of course, I jumped all over this! This lip lacquer is so velvety and creamy and goes on with perfection. It is a perfect deep nude and once it sets has a fantastic staying power. I love wearing this to work because it is the perfect neutral color and goes with just about any outfit choice. I also decided to pair this with the Sparkle Eye Dust in the colors Brown Luster and Amber Glitz. I used the Amber Glitz in the inner corner of my eyes and the Brown Luster on the outer corners and blended them together. If you want to learn more about the Sparkle Eye Dusts, you can check out my full post here .

#RedCoatTuesday with Shades of RED

Image
ny**Bought It** Ok, so last week we started to heat up a little bit more. I am not as bored as I was the previous week but I'm still not happy about the reoccurring story line. I'm sure those ladies won't leave us hanging and they are just starting to warm up BUT I wish they would warm up a little faster.... I tried to do a chevron design using a couple different shades of red but they all kind of blended together. You can see them up close but from far away, it just looks like a nice red mani... lol. Oh well. Next week, I am going to go for some red makeup. Is there anything you want to see? I'm thinking some red lips! Happy New Years!! My 2015 Picks and 2016 Beauty Resolutions

Image
**May Contain Press Samples** Zoya 2015 Transitional Collection I'm still loving these satin finishes. I am such a matte girl that anything that leans even close to it grabs my heart! These are my palette cleansers when I go hard on crazy nail designs and I need something to bring me back to neutral.  I'm showing off Tove above which is my favorite from that collection. You can check out all the colors here in my post . Borghese Eye Shadow Palettes This palette is still one of my favorites to this day. I love the mixture of cremes and shimmers and Stoke is the perfect brow powder for me. This is the palette I grab for most often especially this last Fall and Winter. Borghese has such high quality products and this will not be the last product you see in my line up this year. I fell in love with this brand this year! Rob Scheppy for 'Tini Beauty I got this baby in an Ipsy bag and I have since fallen in love. I use it on my cheeks, brow bones, l...
