Valentine's Day Special Brought to You by Color Me So Crazy

Image
**Press Sample** Whether you love it or hate it, it's here! I'm not having such a hot Valentine's Day this year, but I am still going to rock all the love today! I decided to do a quick and simple mani because I just didn't have time to do something fancy. I have seen so many cute designs this year, but I just couldn't swing it. I'll just drool over all of yours! I have not used any of my BEGL colors in such a long time so I was excited to pull these out. I put down Eden as a base coat and then just topped from there. I loooove the way Elusive Unicorn looks on top of Eden.   Now, I want to hear about all of your designs that you are rocking today. Are there any anti- VDay manis out there? I really considered doing one this year, but I decided to go with love! Always go with love and leave the hate behind!! I hope you all have a fantastic day filled with some kind of special love!! St. Patrick's Day Look for Work and for Play

Image
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!! Today, I am bringing a little Punk Rock to my nails in the key of green. I was curious as to how I was going to pull this off, but I did it, well I think I did...  First, I used this awesomely shifting color from Blue- Eyed Girl Lacquer. It's called BEGL Go Braugh which I won in a polishing naming contest a couple of years ago. This is the best green that I own.  I do not like the color green at all because I think most of the shades just pull out the yellow in my skin so I try to avoid it. The BEGL with the yellow- orange shimmer, for some reason, looks fantastic on me!  The way I punked this out is with a dry swirl, some clover rhinestones and an upside down waterfall. I love the way these all turned out and I was so happy to find out that I actually had little clover rhinestones. They are super cute, aren't they?  The way these two greens come together is very complimentary and I love all the shimmers together....

The Nail Challenge Collabrotive presents Typography

Well ladies and gents, I have made it yet another month and right in time yet again!! I did not brave a freehand BUT I did attempt one. Fail, yes I did. I can say that I did attempt one, though.  This one, again, I used waterslides. I also did a cute little accent heart. Yes, I know, they are upside down BUT I'll rock the heck out of them anyway. I love the Revlon- Sequin under the waterslides. They made a really great background.   I am kind of glad this months theme is over and I am supppper excited about next months theme. It was just announced! You are going to be "rocked" by it! Anyone want to take any guesses on what it is by that little hint there? The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Superheroes

**This Post May Contain Press Samples** Ugh!! I tried so hard to make it through this month and, welp, I only made it through 2 posts so far! I am going to try to squeeze at least one more in but we are really cutting it tight. This one may be a little harder to guess because it is straight artistic without any logos. So... good luck!   I used the three colors that are usually used but in their glitter forms instead of their real colors that are used to represent this Superhero. Usually it is red and blue and then the logo is in yellow. I did a fun skittle with all of them.    Can you guess yet? Ok, if you don't get it by the end of the post, I will tell you! Think super abstract! I love these colors together and I am super sad that I don't use Sweet Peakcock more. It's such a great, sweet looking beautiful blue. St. Patrick's Day 2015 and a Throwback Treat

Image
**Some products were provided for review** This year for St. Patrick's Day I decided to take it easy and go for a classic look. I usually go crazy and do some fun skittles. I have a had a crazy couple of weeks and this week is no different. For my fellow higher educators out there, you know the weeks in between spring break and graduation are just crazy especially for us Student Lifers.  So, I went with a classy St. Patty design with a simple glitter gradient. I love it and I will be able to rock it to work! I am also going to throw back for my older St. Patrick's Day designs. It's so crazy to see how they changed over the years!!
