Color Me So Crazy

Now that my winter challenge is wrapping up, I can try to concentrate on my 52 weeker. The winter challenge will be changing to a monthly one, so that will be good. Any, the challenge was violet. Soooo many things I can do. I choose my Jindie matted out because a) I found it and b) it turned out gorg (just as I pictured in my head). Back story: I wanted to try this Jindie when I first bought it. I pulled it out, ended up cooking dinner, cleaning up and putting my kids to bed. I sat down to do my mani and "BAM" it was gone! I suspected my daughter of taking it and asked her for a straight week where it was. She told me "no" every time! Welp, a couple weeks later, I found her stash!! 3 polishes, lip gloss, a sponge, several key chains and about $5 in change! Mini kelpto if I can say so! So, I put it back in my untrieds and just recently stumbled upon it again. I thought it would match perfectly with my violet so it was my accent for this challenge. AND IT DID! I hope ...

I love Jindie Nails! Her colors are just really great! Purple Rainbow is now my fav...I mean fav of all time!! I love, love, love this polish! You will see the gorg that I have stared at ALL day long below, but I am so happy I got the capture the glitz. I was saving this polish because this was literally the first sunny day for a couple weeks. I saw the sun, grabbed the Jindie and headed for the camera. I also added the Delusional Polish for some extra sparkle as a little accent! I actually won the Delusional Polish in a multi-blogger giveaway a couple weeks ago. This one was tough for me since I am just not in the mood for summer yet. I'm pretty sure I have mentioned a million times how I HATE the winter, so I'm totally over it! I just can't get in the summer mood when I soooooo cold. Plus side, it's supposed to be close to 60 tomorrow! Whoop! So this was also the first time that I have used Purple Rainbow and I am in love! So for one of the groups I am in we did drugstore brand week themed manis and this is one of them that I did. I did a gradient on my thumb, pointer and middle and then just did a mini gradient with the gold Milani holo on the other two. I really liked the L'Oreal color. L'Oreal is one of my favorite drugstore brands. I usually can get a really good deal on these with coupons and sales my local grocery store always has. I love the formula and I love their colors. I only have a few Milanis and I am still not convinced on their formula. It just seems a little watery for me. I really like the Milanis dark vampy colors. We all know, those are my favorite shades- the darker the better! As you can also see my poor cuties are really suffering with the dry weather. I have been lotioning, oiling and covering and it seems that nothing is helping. So.... I have just have to hang on until this horrible-for-my-nails weather is over...Enjoy all!! I am so pumped for spring for several reasons! #1. The weather! I love spring weather. Hoodies and rain boots are my fav combo!! #2. My birthday month is April!! I have a huge birthday coming up and I am soooo excited to party! And last but definitely not least, spring pastel colors!! I am sooo pumped for the pastelish colors that I can use. I have already purchased all colors except a green. I have yet to find a perfect pastel green. I am really not that into buying full collections, as I am into finding the perfect colors over a range of brands. For example, my pastel collection consists of Revlon, OPI, Nailtiques and 1 L'Oreal. All different brands, but the colors go great together. So, to kick off my spring pastels, here is my first spring mani!! Yeah!! I love experimenting with a good jelly sammy. As some of you may know, I added a whole slew of new polishes to my collection last week. As you can see here, I had a lot to pick from!! I decided to use a no name OPI and Pizzazz! I really like how the OPI matted out the glitter, but still had a glossy look.
