Happy Wednesday everyone!! Today, I have a nice and light (literally) post for you. NYC New York Color has put out a new line of lip balms and they are soooo perfect for these hot days. 

Cool Nude

Cool Nude is the first shade I have to show you. Since this is a balm, it literally is nude and no color on my lips. I did see a slight shimmer in the actual tube, but I didn't see any on my lips after I applied it.

Fashionable Fuchsia

This is a watermelon pink color and it's my favorite out of the collection. I'm not sure if I love it so much because it has a nice pinky tint or because of it's name. It's so fun! Anyway, this does leave a little more tint than the Cool Nude and it would look nice layered over a nude lipstick that needs a little tint.

In Vogue Red

Lastly, I have the red of the collection. As you can see it's not a pure pigmented red, but it's tinted. Keep that in mind when you see these colors. It looks like it would be a creamy red application. It is creamy, but it's also a lip balm. You know what I'm saying? I also like this color, but I think the Fashionable Fuchsia is more of my tint.
There are 6 colors available now and they will cost around $2 for each color. They are available at KMart, Walmart, Target, Duane Reade, and Family Dollar. I have yet to see these in my Target, but I will keep an eye out. These are infused with Vitamin C and they are super moisturizing without being greasy or overwhelming. These are not scented, but they also have a slight scent to them. I'm not sure what it is, but it's pleasant.
Would you use a tinted balm like this from NYC New York Color? Do you prefer a scented lip balm?

I Went Naked...With My Nails!

**Press Samples** Yup, I did it. I cut down all of my nails and started over a couple of months ago. I wanted to get some ridges filled and stop some cracking I had with this lovely winter weather. Zoya has a fantastic little line called NAKED MANICURE.  It consists of a base coat, perfector in a couple different shades and then a top coat. The perfector users diffusers, keratin, and reflective color pigments to create an illusion all while ensuring healing of your natural nail to help conceal imperfections.  I've been using this set for about 2 months now and I have been able to grow my nails back out all while keeping them strong and healthy. I will continue to use this system in between manicures just to help continue that strengthening process and for a little refresher.

Zoya Pinks! Comparison Post

**Press Samples** I guess I have been in the testing mood. This time, pinks. Not just any old pinks, but Zoya pinks! With the release of Wanderlust, I got thinking about all the different pinks Zoya had and could they really all be different? I grabbed all the similar looking pinks and went to swatch town. I used 8 different pinks from my vast Zoya collection. I even snuck in a matte!  As  you can see, while some of them are seriously similar. I think Byrdie and Nana are most similar. I loooove all of these pinks and this little comparison experiment, made me literally want to wear one each week! Maybe a little girly pick me up?!?! What do you think of these pinks? Do you have a favorite? Is there any other Zoya pinks you would add to this?
