Alpha Mani Presents the Letter O

Image
**Bought It**May Contain Press Samples** This week is O!! At first I freaked out and was like what the freak brand starts with O... I was thinking of all the Indies I could possible think of and then it dawned on me. I was thinking too much about it.. .duh ding dong... the OG nail polish maker is an O. OPI!!! This was a super fun design to do for me. I started out with a fun color from Zoya. Shhhhh I know, it's not an O color, but I thought it could be fun with the other colors I wanted to use.   I added the Gone Gonzo! to add the accents for the skittelette. It looks awesome over the orange red of the Zoya. It is a blue glitter topper with silver dots. The silver dots were hard to get out, but I tried my best.  I have had both of these polishes for well over 2 years and I think they look awesome. They both applied as nicely as the day I got them. Sooo pretty! I finally got the entire Muppets collection so that is super exciting for me, too!! I a...

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents Spring Flowers

Image
**May Contain Press Samples**  I am sooo behind with this month's challenge and that stinks! I was sooo ready, too! I had all these big plans and then flop!  Anyway, enough wining. I thought since I was already playing around with the new Zoya colors, I would do some double (or in this case triple) stamping. I did a little tropical theme because what else can you do with colors like these.  I love these colors together and I think this design reminds me of a lei. I just love the way this came out. Even though I was mad at my base color, I made it work with the stamping on top.   I used Genesis as the base. You can check out my full review here . I stamped with some colors from the Island Fun Collection. I will be doing a full review later next week. I am sure you will want to check them out and I am super impressed with their stamping abilities. What do you think of this design? Do you love the color combo as much as I do? I can't wait ...

Born Pretty Shell Nail Stud Review

Image
**Provided for Review** I got these fun shell shaped nail studs from Born Pretty to play with and I figured since we are having summer like weather here, I am going to show these off. I just wish I had some sand and waves in front of me.  These studs come in a pack of 10 pieces for $2.22. They come in both silver and gold. Don't forget you can use my little discount code for 10% off. BSZK31.  So, the first thing I noticed and I was SUPER impressed about was the shape. I got a similar item a couple years ago from Born Pretty and they were flat. I had to shape them myself around my nail before I put them on and it took a long time. I never wore the again and basically swore off buying any metal charms form Born Pretty again. Well, this time they were perfectly shaped to fit my nail. If you have more of a curved nail, you may have to play with them, but they were perfect for me!  I also really liked the size. Again, I have suuuupppper TINY nail beds to if...

Purifying Dead Sea Mud Mask - Get that Skin Clear for the Summer

Image
**Powered by BrandBacker** Mud Masks!! I love my masks especially during these summer months when my face gets so gunked up with whatever is outside. Pollutants, pollen, makeup, sweat and whatever else gets on my face. Mud masks help me get that deep cleanse that I don't get while regularly cleansing my face.     The Adovia Purifying Mud Mask was made to rebuild your skin by pulling out the toxins in your skin, unclogging your pores, and reducing the appearance of fine lines, blackheads, acne and blemishes. Just like a regular mud mask, you can use this once a day. If you have super sensitive skin, test it out at once a day to make sure it doesn't dry you out too much and then go from there. It's only $19.99 a tube so that's a super exciting price because it is a pretty big tube at 5.1oz. As you can see, there are all kinds of goodies in this tube of greatness! Wait.. before I forget. I love that this comes in a tube and not a jar. I don't have to d...

Zoya Paradise Sun Collection

Image
**Press Sample** So, I got the Zoya Summer 2015 Summer Collection to share with you and I decided to split them in two different posts. I did this for a couple different reasons, but first so that you didn't get overwhelmed. I know when I see mega huge collections all in one post, I get scared. So, 6 at a time will be better for me and you (I hope). With this collection, you can either buy them individually for $8 each or the sampler for $54. Personally, I would buy these individually and you will see why when I do the descriptions below. I loved half of these and hated, yes I used the H word, the other half. These are all described as having a metallic pearl finish. Isa   Isa is a purple leaning blue and shifts very nicely in the different lights. Zoya describes it as "a deep blue-based purple with a micronized metallic pearl finish and an aqua flash that embodies the beauty of exotic island flowers!"  So, I mentioned that I was not too happy wit...
