Color Me So Crazy

This week we got a break and had to come up with our own creative design. Well, I am burnt out with all that is going on that the best I came up with was dots. Womp. womp. The cool part about this design is the colors and polish I used.  The polishes I picked happen to be part of my original collection. These are polishes that I bought a looooong time ago and still remain some of my favorites. While I don't use them as much because they are waaaay far back in my drawers, they are great polishes. The community is leaning towards shimmers again and I wanted to share some of the originals.  For this design, I used your standard dotting tool with a very thick tip and then one with a thin one. I made a pattern of thick dots and then went in between with little tiny white ones. Let's talk about steady hand and time. **Purchased by myself** I recently made a pretty big purchase from Sephora for my Birthday and I was given the opportunity to pick a couple full size samples. The dr. brandt Pores No More was one of my choices. I am a huge make up junkie and I love anything that will make it easier to do my makeup in the morning.  I do have slightly larger pores, so I do use a pore minimizer regularly. I am constantly on the hunt for the best one. Because of this I have about 9 bottles of different pore minimizer, pore minimizing primer, pore minimizing foundation, BB cream, etc.  I found the dr. brandt brand port minimizer to be great. I like using it and probably will buy a full size once my current one runs out. As you can see in the middle picture, it comes out with a yellowish/ orange color. Did he know the whole time that she was alive? Like what would you say if you found out the sister you thought was dead was actually alive?? Why didn't Jason ask her questions in the preview. Does he already know about her? Curious! Episode 2 is called "Whirley Girlie" and I wonder if that has something to do with the playground incident? Are we going to find out what happened? **Press Sample** This week on nubs I have some fun summertime colors and stamping design. It is going to be awfully hot this entire week, so this is a great time to bust out some sunshine on my nails. I was so excited to do these and then when I went to add the linkup code, I realized we didn't get one this week. I think this means that the linkup is over?? I am not sure. I am back for 2 weeks in a row!! Wahoo!! I actually had the privilege to have lunch with a couple ladies in this group and we had a great conversation about all of the wonderful and talented art that is produced from this group. This is one of the most fun challenge groups I am a part of. The expectations are really low and the involvement, while required, is very minimal. Not to mention, the group of girls are really, really supportive. For this design, I decided to do a black and white dotticure over my new matted out pink F*ck Off and Dye from Manglaze. Did I mentioned that I love Manglaze?? I am sure I have about 5 million times. If you have not tried this brand yet, you have to. *winnings* So, I won this from a giveaway a couple months ago and I was super excited. Along with this, I was able to get 2 other polishes and a cuticle oil with my order. I was suuuuper excited because I really liked the cuticle oil I have purchased in the past and I was excited to add to my collection. Left is with a flash and the right is without a flash.  As you can see, Janus Rising is a purpleish, brownish, reddish duochrome- holographic color. Wow!! That's a lot of stuff and it makes it awesome!! The color shift from the purple to red is really awesome in the sunlight. I am kind of bummed because it has nothing but rain here for the last couple of days, so you are stuck with a flash. Flash on the left, regular lighting on the right I love this polish. I am starting to drift away from holos a little because I am just over them. For me, they are a winter polish and I think I am holo'd out!! This polish really brought me back though. I loooo...
