GET THE LOOK: Bold Metallic Eyes for 'Project Runway' Finale from Mary Kay

 **Press Sample**

Today, I have an awesome look for you brought to you by Mary Kay. This is based on the Season Finale of Project Runway and I just love it! The Metallic look is in and I love the combination that Luis Casco put together. He has inspired just about all of the looks on this season Project Runway and they have all brought Mary Kay into the spotlight. I have loved ALL of the products I have got and it has really made me rethink their products. They are hip, great quality and easy to use. Not to mention really great prices.

So let's see what I got to play with:

This goes on first. You can put this on the lid with a brush. This is a creamy shadow and goes on pretty easily. It is waterproof and dries fairly quickly. It also lasts pretty long. I tried cream eye color in another shade and it does not bleed either on me. Where I put it, it stays. As all cream colors, this also works as a great "undie" for mineral color. See that polish term there. hehe

Next, apply your mineral color on the inner thirds of your upper lash line and lower lash line. Pull the color outwards until it fades. To really bling out the metals, you will want to pull a little on your brow bone. This color really needed a little building. I have tried these before and usually it is a one swipe product, but it must have just been the color. It needed a little working. The Mineral Eye Colors are great because they have oil absorbing properties which means they won't crease and they won't go anywhere once it is on. That's a plus for me.

Mary Kay At Play® Eye Crayon- Purple Smoke
$10 .00

You will want to add this next in the crease of each eye and then again on the out lower lash of each eye. I am obsessed with the Mary Kay Eye Crayons. They are so easy to use. They glide so easily and stay put once applied.

Mary Kay® Lash Love Mascara- I <3 Black
$15.00

You want to finish your eyes off with mascara on the top and bottom lashes. Again, another great Mary Kay product!! I really like just about every mascara that I have tried from Mary Kay and this one is right up there with my favorites. This is lightweight. The brush is innovative in which it lifts, curls and separates. You can actually feel it bend with your lashes.

Lastly, top your lips with some nude colored gloss. I have never tried Mary Kay gloss before so this was my first experience. I really liked the color. It was easy and smooth the apply and had a great glossy finish just like a lip gloss should. It did have a little sticky after effect, but again it is a gloss and it would be hard to find a gloss that didn't have that sticky, gloss after-wear.
Overall, I liked it and would try it again in another color.

Overall, I love this look. It is so sophisticated and can be worn for a night out on the town, a dinner out with the girls or you can seal with deal with the Mary Kay finishing spray and dance the night away with this look. Luis Casco will never steer you in the wrong direction.
