St. Patrick's Day Look for Work and for Play
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!! Today, I am bringing a little Punk Rock to my nails in the key of green. I was curious as to how I was going to pull this off, but I did it, well I think I did...
First, I used this awesomely shifting color from Blue- Eyed Girl Lacquer. It's called BEGL Go Braugh which I won in a polishing naming contest a couple of years ago. This is the best green that I own.
I do not like the color green at all because I think most of the shades just pull out the yellow in my skin so I try to avoid it. The BEGL with the yellow- orange shimmer, for some reason, looks fantastic on me!
The way I punked this out is with a dry swirl, some clover rhinestones and an upside down waterfall. I love the way these all turned out and I was so happy to find out that I actually had little clover rhinestones. They are super cute, aren't they?
The way these two greens come together is very complimentary and I love all the shimmers together. It's super punky and holiday at the same time! Now... my next challenge is to do a Punk Easter Nail design... Have any ideas?? Let me know in the comments below!
