KB Shimmer Spring Collection is Blooming with Glitz

**Press Samples**

Ohhh hello Spring... well my calendar says Spring BUT the weather outside says WINTER.... I'm not happy about it but all of these pretty Spring collections coming out have me not minding it too much. I'll be showing off two Spring collections this week. First up is KB Shimmer. I am such a huge fan of KB Shimmer. They continually put out quality polish and the customer service is the best I have come across in the indie community lately. I have two, yes only two (sorry!), color from the Spring 2016 collection. There are 14 colors in total plus some decals and mani shots.

NIGHT BRIGHT
This is one of the 7 "Mega Flame" holo shades. They are jam packed with micro holo glitters in a tinted base. This may be my favorite color from the collection.
This is super loaded, like supppppper loaded. If you like your linear holos, this is not for you. Scattered is the name of this little lady's game. It actually applied really smoothly. I was thinking this was going to have a rough finish, but it was smooth and really popped when I topped with with a clear coat. I used two coats just for good measure. It covered perfectly with with one, but I added the second just to smooth everything out.
I really like the way this looks and I actually experimented with layering different toppers to get different looks. I used Zoya Leia and Max Factor Fantasy Fire for extra glitz. Both of them topped really nicely with this and actually toned that wild holo down a little bit.
You can snatch this up for $9.25, as well as the rest of the Mega Flame collection. You can buy and look at Night Bright on the website by clicking here

PRINTS CHARMING
I am so glad that KB Shimmer added some crellys into this collection. She usually does for Spring, but I was worried that she was going to switch it up. Since my favorite crelly maker went MIA and KB Shimmer has really been impressing me lately, I was really excited when I saw them in the lineup.
Prints Charming is a white based crelly with fuchsia, sapphire and turquoise hexes, micros and round glitters scattered throughout. This base wasn't chunky or sticky and was very smooth. This is also $9.25 and can be found here
I am always impressed with KB Shimmer crellys application. They are always smooth, not too chunky and opaque in two to three coats. The same stands true for this polish. I didn't have any application issues and I used three thin coats for an even application. I had even amounts of glitter for each application, as well.

Overall, I am very impressed with these two samples. The formula is excellent, the colors are brilliant and the price is comparable. This is not a surprise coming from KB Shimmer.  I am definitely going to give myself a birthday treat with the rest of the crellys from this collection.

Did you pick up any colors from the 2016 Spring collection? What do you think of the Mega Flame colors?
