Celebrating 4th of July with a Little Help from NYC New York Color

**Press Samples**

4th of July for me is always a fun, family party filled day. I always like to do something crazy and wild with my makeup and my nails. This year, NYC New York Color gave me some fun colors to play with to be able to do this with. I am excited about this and I can't wait to wear it again on this holiday.
I got 2 City Proof 24 Hour Waterproof Eye Shadow Crayons. One the color East River Romance (above) and  Rockefeller Center Snowflakes (below). Perfect for the upcoming holiday!! I will be using the blue ALL of the time! I love it for a lower lid liner. Perfect for summer.
Vibrant color has never been easier. This retractable chubby has a unique, pigment- packed formula for 24- hour waterproof wear. Color glides on smooth and stays crease- proof all day and night. Try using it as a liner, or smudge with your finger for a smoky effect. There are 12 colors all together and they are only $2.99. I think this would be perfect for a night out because they are waterproof and long lasting. They are also travel friendly and super easy to apply on the go.
What I thought of these shadows? The blue was super easy for me to apply. I loved using both of these but the white need to be warmed up a little. The only issue I had is that they were a little patchy. I think that a stronger primer plus using my finger to help smudge it out may help with that.
This lippy is called Red Suede. I have tried this before and just swatched it as part of the Expert Last Lip Color Matte Collection. I said in my review that I should have layered it a little bit in order for that "real" red to come out because it came out a little pink in my swatches. Well, I did just that and look how gorgeous it came out!
For this look, I used the eye crayons to wing out both the top lid and the bottom lid. I also added the little stars after I colored them with the lipstick! A little wild and crazy, I know! It's Independence Day, you have to go wild.... Wahoo! My family does a red, white and blue contest and with this look I am definitely winning this year!

What do you think of this look? Is it too wild for you? Is it something you would wear to a 4th of July party? Have you tried anything from the City Proof Collection? What are your plans for the 4th of July if you celebrate?
