Alpha Mani Does K with KB Shimmer

It's K week for Alpha Mani and I am using KB Shimmer!! I love me some KB Shimmer and I decided to (and maybe have went a little out of control with) use a lot of different colors and medias to show this little love affair I have going on.

First I used Sand In My Stocking as a base for all of my nails. I love this glitter because there are so many great glitters and colors shoved in there.It came out with the Christmas collection, but I think it is such a great summer glitter.

I topped this glitter with some different art techniques. On the inner two nails, I did a dry water distress with skinny dotting tool (or you could use a pin). I put two colors on next to each other kind of thick and then I drug the tool across in a zig zag pattern. This was not the best I have done and I think it's because these colors are sooo pigmented and thus a little thick.

The outer two fingers, I did a cute little blobicure with all of the colors over the glitter to tie it all together.

Overall, this is pretty cute. If I had more time, I would have definitely went back and redid the middle two nails and used a pin or waited less time to see if that helped. I love the colors so I am super happy with that!

**Press Samples** Yup, I did it. I cut down all of my nails and started over a couple of months ago. I wanted to get some ridges filled and stop some cracking I had with this lovely winter weather. Zoya has a fantastic little line called NAKED MANICURE.  It consists of a base coat, perfector in a couple different shades and then a top coat. The perfector users diffusers, keratin, and reflective color pigments to create an illusion all while ensuring healing of your natural nail to help conceal imperfections.  I've been using this set for about 2 months now and I have been able to grow my nails back out all while keeping them strong and healthy. I will continue to use this system in between manicures just to help continue that strengthening process and for a little refresher.

Zoya Pinks! Comparison Post

**Press Samples** I guess I have been in the testing mood. This time, pinks. Not just any old pinks, but Zoya pinks! With the release of Wanderlust, I got thinking about all the different pinks Zoya had and could they really all be different? I grabbed all the similar looking pinks and went to swatch town. I used 8 different pinks from my vast Zoya collection. I even snuck in a matte!  As  you can see, while some of them are seriously similar. I think Byrdie and Nana are most similar. I loooove all of these pinks and this little comparison experiment, made me literally want to wear one each week! Maybe a little girly pick me up?!?! What do you think of these pinks? Do you have a favorite? Is there any other Zoya pinks you would add to this?
