Let's Go Steelers and NCC TwoFor!!

Whoop!!! It's Back!! I don't know how many times I have said this, I am super super super excited that football is back. I love watching, playing and wearing all things football. There is nothing better than fall weather, hoodies, sweaty men, hot chocolate and harding hitting action which all attribute all to football!! Anyway, today is the first regular season game for my Pittsburgh boys!! I am hoping they do better today than they did in the pre-season. So for the NCC part, this month is technique month. I interpret that as inventing my own technique. This mani I did something that I dub the "distressed dots". Have you ever put your top coat on and all of a sudden everything streaks?? Well the first time I did this, I said "wow that would be cool looking with the right colors". Well now that I have an opportunity with the open theme on the Nail Challenge Collaborative, I'm doing it!

Distressed Dots:
1st- used a base coat of whatever color you like. I used Sinful Colors- Snow Me White. Let dry.
2nd- put thick dots for several colors on top of the base coat. I did dots right from the brush in the bottle. I did not use a dotting tool, because I wanted them to be thick. Let them dry slightly
3rd- pull the top coat in 3-4 strokes from the nail base to the tip. This will pull or smear the dots. You are now creating the distressed look. I pulled it once more to get it extra streaky.
