It's Halloween... This is What I am Wearing!

Image
**Press Samples** So... today is Halloween and this is what I am rocking. Thanks to the wonderful people over at NYC New York Color, I have a really fun and colorful design on my face. I didn't create an actual character this year, I just went for fun.  Colors Used: Face: NYC New York Color- New York At Night  NYC New York Color- East River Romance NYC New York Color- Rockefeller Center Snowflakes NYC New York Color- Wall Street Bronze I'm not sure exactly what this character is but I kind of like it. I used a really, really light foundation and then just went to town. I whited out my eyes, outlined the white in electric blue and then added some spikes.  I also then outlined my lips in black and then did an inner color with the electric blue. Again, even though I'm not really someone or something, I am in love. I do wish I would have use a better primer so my pores aren't so porous but I'm learning for next time! To match up with

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Funky French

Image
**Bought It**  Sooo... Here is my last installment of my Funky French. We are just about to roll over into the next theme and I am super happy that I finally finished a month. You know why?? I actually planned out this entire month a whole month in advance!! Wahoo for my super planning skills. Actually my sister got married on the 24th and I am the Maid of Honor so I really had to plan out to keep you reading. I originally had these blacked out with the bows, but I ended up pulling up the bows so you can actually see the outline. I wanted to go for a punk rocker look but these turned out a little more girly than I thought. I would have liked to maybe do the tips in a different color BUT I do think these turned out funky. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel- Halloween Style

Image
**Press Samples** Today, I have something really awesome for Halloween. Of course, Sally Hansen brought out the spooky in their Miracle Gel line with two really great festive colors. I wanted to combine them for a fun, simple and easy to do design that YOU can rock for this holiday. The duo that I have is Blacky O , which is a pure black color and Electra-cute which is a perfect orange creme. You can get these for about $9.99 at any super store or even your grocer. They are perfect because all you need is a color and a top coat. Two steps!! Each manicure can last up to 14 days, you don't need any specials lamps and they are just as easy to remove.  For this design, I put down a base coat of Electra-cute and then used some decals to create the design. I used some wavy lines and some chevron lines to cut out the spaces. I then filled in with the Blacky O. This is super easy to recreate and even simple enough to wear at work! I will be rocking this until Fri

Mani Bombs from Lolita Lacquers

Image
**Bought It** So, this is the last part of my MEGA bomb haul. I saw this brand on of of my fellow nail lovers Instagram and I just had to check it out. You know if a nail lover that doesn't blog backs a brand, it must be a brand to at least try. I placed an order for some things for myself and some things for some ladies at work. Lolita Lacquers has polish, stamping plates and mani bombs on her site.    What I bought are specifically made just for your fingers so they are a little smaller than they other ones that I ordered. They are called mani bombs for that reason. So, this shop has a lot of super cute bombs but I just bought some basic ones to start off with based on the smells that I would like. Overall, I love this brand. The smells are fantastic and they really are packed with lots of moisturizing products that make your hands feel fantastic when you are done. Some ingredients include shea butter, grape seed oil, safflower oil, and vitamin E oil. Each of thes

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Funky French

**May Contain Press Samples**  For this weeks Nail Challenge Collaborative Challenge, I decided to veer towards a Halloween theme. An ooey gooey, Halloween drip.  I, of course, sparkled it up to make it extra fancy for this awesome holiday. I am trying to do a Halloween makeup looking coming up this week, too so stay tuned for that. It should be a lot of fun, too. I'm not trying to go gory, but fun! Ok, I think you get the point.   For this design, it's super easy to recreate. You just put three or four globs of polish on the tips of your nails. Then you grab a super tiny dotting tool and pull the globs down your nails. You make them look like drips. I love doing this design for Halloween. It's super easy and the effect looks awesome. Ipsy October Glam Bag

Image
**Affiliate Links**  Here is my fancy schmancy October Ipsy Bag !!! Wahoooo I am actually almost 100% in love with this bag... ALMOST. I'm sure if you have read my reviews of my bags in the past, you can already guess why BUT I'm still going to review this because I squeed so loud FINALLY when I got this one.  First up, the DOSE Color Pill Nail Polish in the shade Stormy. This was exclusively made for this Ipsy bag. I am in looooove with this color. This is a greyish purple with a little shimmer in it. The shimmer isn't as noticeable once you apply it, but it is super strong in the bottle. I am still rocking this. Actually, I rocked it all week long and it has great wear. It has super cute packaging AND did I mention that I LOVE it!!  Next up is the ONLY bummer that I got this bag. Only is Ipsy could get it together and leave out the eye liner in EVERY SINGLE BAG, I would be just fine. First, my liner container is overflowing and 2nd at least get some wild c

AirSupremacy Mist Airbrush Foundation from Luminess Air

Image
**Press Sample** I am super excited to share this new product with you as it will be airing on QVC at 10pm on Tuesday, 10/27 during "The Find" segment with Shawn Killinger. I reviewed the Luminess Air system a couple weeks ago with the actual airbrush makeup system and I fell in love. Luminess Air offers a variety of products besides foundations. They offer tattoo and blemish coverage as well as an entire line of sprayable face makeup (blushes, shadows, etc) and body shimmers. In addition to all of these great products they already have, Luminess Air is at it again and this time they are making foundation application so much easier.  The AirSupremacy system is a buildable, bendable, breathable foundation that comes pretty much in a spray can. It is super easy to use and the coverage is out of this world. This kit comes with everything you need to make your look last for up to 18 hours. Like this is a dream come true! I've been wanting to do a side-by-side

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Funky French

Image
**Bought It**Prize** I'm doing it folks!! This is Funky French #2! While I am kind of mad at this stamping plate AND my lighting situation, I am still doing the challenge. First, this plate was not letting me pick up the entire image at all. It was driving me nuts. It is such a cute little bow and if it would just work, it would look super cute but oh, well. It is what it is. Anyway, I love this purple from Cirque. It is one of my favorites and I don't wear it nearly enough. It is gorgeous! It goes perfectly with with any Fall outfit. This is the only stamping look that I am doing so it will be the only stamping fail I have BUT at least the undies rock, right?? Colors Used: Rica- WhiteOut Cirque Colors- Baptisia
