Get a 'Project Runway' Faux Tan from Mary Kay

**Press Sample**

I was recently given the opportunity to try out the Faux Tan look by Mary Kay from the Project Runway series. I have been in love with the looks coming out of Project Runway and Mary Kay this year and this has just been right up there with them.

Now that we are getting into the colder months, I think adding a little sun to my look is super important since I do not believe in artificial sun. It is BAD for your skin. BADDDDD!!

Mary Kay Global Makeup Artist Luis Casco created this look exclusively for Project Runway and I am here to share it with you.

First up, the PRODUCTS:

Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blush

This is is a great shimmery blush that I applied right where the sun would naturally hit. You don't want to go too crazy, because remember you want to go "faux tan". So think natural tan- natural sun rays.

Light/ Medium Bronzing Powder

Next is bronzer in the lightest shade. I use this to outline and go over the blush a little. You want to just accent and bring out the sunshine in the cheek area where the sun would naturally shine upon your cheek.

Medium/ Dark Bronzing Powder
Next is a little bit of a darker bronzer. I like to add this to the areas that are naturally shaded. NOW, if you are very pale skinned, stay with the lighter shade. DO NOT bridge to the dark side. You will look too dark!!! I use this on my jaw line and chest area. I just accent, again,  where the sun would naturally hit.

Mary Kay Translucent Powder
This is used to seal the whole deal. Apply this at the end to your T-Zone. Think of your face. In the middle draw a T. The forehead area is the top on the T and down the nose is the middle. That is where the most oil gathers and that is where the most problems are. That is where you want to use this so all of that soaks up nicely and you won't have any extra oil glow that you don't want. You want a nice dewy glow, not any oily one.

You will want to get a really great brush to blend all of this in. My preference is a stiff thick, angled brush for the bronzer and blush and a fluffy brush for the translucent powder.
Now, move sister and get that sunny glow in the fall!!

Have you followed Project Runway?? What do you think of the makeup looks from Mary Kay this season?? Have you been following the looks I have been featuring? I have really been loving the up to date looks Mary Kay has been pumping out and it has really been making me love Mary Kay lately.
