GOT Polish Challenge Pastel

This is my pastel design for the first week of the Spring GOT Polish Challenge. Again, the gist of this challenge is that you should be using older polishes of a year or more. I love this challenge because it gets me to use those polishes that have not been loved so much. I usually only use one polish and then move on.  This lets me use them multiple times.

You can see above the great line up we have coming up. I am most excited about texture and bling... My inner Jersey is coming out, but hey Jersey girl born never loses it!!

Anyway, for this design I tried to create a new technique. Haha- welp I failed! I just took the brush and dabbed- with the thick part of the brush- the polish on top of the base coat. I used a gray ( L'Oreal Greycian Goddess) base on my ring and pinkie and a white (Sinful Colors- Snow Me White) base on my pointer and middle. I think I like the white better... What do you think?

The colors I used are:
L'Oreal- Penthouse Pink
Funky Fingers- Sugar Plum Fairy
Maybelline- LE Bare Escape

Sometimes I really did pastels and sometimes I just don't feel them. I am a vampy color girl at heart and that shows in my polish collection. Every once and a while, I get this dainty, girly feeling. This, pastels, is what happens. Haha. I like it, though. It was a nice spring break.
